Note from Author: Partly based on a true story. I had writing stories about the L-team and it was this event that caused me to make a real team out of it, and that team is still there.

Civil War in the 8th Grade

Wars start out as fights, while fights start out as a disagreement. This is how this started out, well kind of.

Before we get to the main part of the story, you should know that a killer had escaped from the local federal prison.

Now as this story begins, Lamont was walking with Brad Bergman, they were talking about their last adventure.

Brad said, "I was really awesome wasn't I."

Lamont just sighed and said, "It was a team effort, all three of us defeated the baron."

Brad said, "Ya, you were kind of good. How do you do that transformation?"

Lamont said, "It takes skill and a trip to another dimension."

Brad said, "But how did you have time to learn all that you were only gone for about one day.

Lamont smiled as we remembered his adventures with the Syberians and the adventure on Austoros. He remembered what the Princess said, "One day on your worlds' equals on year on ours."

He thought about that, when he left her world it was December 15, 1993. Now it was May 7, 1994. So about 143 days had past since he had saved that dimension which meant that 143 years have past since they all left. The Princess, Kaz, and Tech should all be gone by now. I wonder how much time has past on the other's dimension too?

Brad said, "So what do you think?"

Lamont snapped back into reality and said, "Um could you say that again."

Brad said, "I could probably beat up Zach and Jacob together with one hand tied behind my back."

Lamont said, "Don't get over confidant, and besides they're our friends."

Brad said, "I'm not really going to, I just think I can."

Lamont said, "Well then, I'm going to ask Jamie Moore what she thinks." I ran over to her and told her. She told Mandy Darnell who told her friend Samantha, and she told Colton, who in turn told Zach but by that time it got disrupted. Kind of like when you play telephone. When the message hit Zach it said, "Can I have your girlfriend when you are done with her."

Lamont was talking to Julie Cupp when he heard a sound, when he looked over; Zach was beating up Brad. He just sighed and continued his conversation.

Later in the day some kids were talking bets on how many ribs Brad had broken. They all had lost, because he hadn't broken any.

The next day, the class was divided into three groups. First there was the group that felt sorry for Brad. They were known as the Bradists. Then there was one ones who didn't agree with Zach. They were called the Anti-Zachians. Who might ask aren't the Bradists and the Anti-Zachians the same thing, well you have got to remember that Brad wasn't that popular, and even though they didn't like Zach beating him up, they still thought Brad was a moron. Finally there was the Zachians, and you know whose side they were on. Finally there was a forth group, they were known as the L-team.

Except for of course Brad and Zach the L-team was a neutral group.

Jamie Pounds said, "This has gotten way out of control."

Mandy Darnell said, "What are we worrying about?"

Lamont said, "What do you mean?"

Mandy said, "This is just a guy thing and it will be over soon."

Chris said, "The point aside from the division of our friends, Brad is the White Wizard and Zach is the Black Wizard."

Jamie Moore said, "So what?"

Lamont said, "I think she is right."

Chris said, "What do you mean?"

Lamont said, "Well besides me, and maybe Aren who is gone now. Ever since we fought Chaos and got these rings, we have really never used them. I mean we transform and defeat evil, but we don't use the rings to their full abilities. Jamie what did you do when you saw that Radiation?"

Jamie Pounds said, "I used my ring to create a hazard force field."

Lamont said, "Yes, your ring allowed you to do that. I learned something from my last adventure. Real Power comes from with in and you can't master the abilities until you learn the truth."

Chris said, "Well lets go like this one at a time, may I?"

Lamont said, "Be my guess."

Chris said, "First before we go into the rings, the Star Power that Lamont brought back to us causes our power to be magnified by ten. And it is a goo thing too because even with the increases in power the enemy today has almost defeated us. The first ring is that of Brad Bergman. His is the White Wizard ring. He can use magic to heal people. The next is Jacob McLaughlin, who has the abilities of a Trapper. He could catch the bad guys if he wanted too. Liz Gordon has the power to make the enemy lose some of their powers. Then there is me, not only am I a Jedi like Lamont but I can also track an enemy anywhere. Jennifer Blessing has the abilities of a secret agent. Jamie Moore has the ability to read people's minds. Eric here has the power to give us more powers. Then there is the Master Black Belt ring. It has had three owners so far, Jim, Andy and now Roger Roberts; it has the ability to give the person the moves of a Black Belt Master. Jamie Pounds has the ability to be enveloped with the knowledge of a doctor and can use that to heal us, kind of like Brad does with Magic, but she can do surgery. Zach Atkinson can attack the enemy with Magic. While with Magic, Mandy Darnell's magic, she can trick the enemies with illusion. Magic. Finally there is Lamont Stewart. He has both the powers and abilities of a Knight and a Ninja. Not to mention his Jedi Powers and his special ability he learned on Austoros."

Mandy said, "I see what you mean. We use our powers to fight evil, but we hardly ever used them for what they were designed for."

Lamont said, "Ya, and with Daniel back we are going to have to pull out all the stops."

Jamie Pounds said, "But first we have to stop this war from breaking out in our class."

Chris said, "Isn't it weird how our class can stand together in all of these invasions but are divided in this little thing."

Jenny held her hand out and said, "So are we all ready to stop this?"

All of the team said, "Ya!"

They all and went to confront Zach and Brad who were getting ready to fight. Jacob held back Brad, while Jamie Moore held back Zach.

Lamont said, "You two stop. We are all friends here. We are here to fight the forces of Count Daniel Funela. We can't fight each other."

Zach said, "But Brad said." Then he told them what Colton had said.

Brad said, "But I said." Then he told them what he had really said.

Zach said, "So this whole thing has been a mistake."

Brad said, "I guess so."

Just then a voice said, "I don't know who you are but I want your money."

They all turned around and saw a man facing them. He said, "My name is Kyle Harring and I want your stuff."

Zach said, "Sorry we don't deal with people like you." They turned around and walked away when they heard a shot. The saw that Jamie Pounds had been shot in the shoulder.

Lamont turned around and said, "You just made a big mistake."

Kyle said, "Why, what can you do to stop me."

Lamont said, "It's L-team Time!"

Kyle said, "What is that suppose to mean?"

"White Wizard Star Power!" Brad Bergman transformed into wizard of white magic.

"Trapper Star Power!" Jacob McLaughlin transformed into a trapper of the mountains.

"Demoter Star Power!" Liz Gordon got the ability to take away powers.

"Tracker Star Power!" Chris Leis transformed into a master tracker of stuff.

"Spy Star Power!" Jennifer Blessing was transformed into a professional double agent.

"Telepathy Star Power!" Jamie Moore received the ability to read minds.

"Promoter Star Power!" Eric Griffith inquired the ability to give people more powers.

"Master Black Belt Star Power!" Roger Roberts transformed into a martial arts expert.
