Peter – You're my special guest commentator this week? Wow, I can't believe it. It's an honour to finally meet you, Mr…uh… Special Guest – They never really made my last name clear, did they? I must have told them a thousand times to clear things up, but they never did. Peter – Well I can't tell you how happy I am to be working with you. I loved your work, in particular the fourth season stuff. You were fantastic. Special Guest – (smiling) Thanks. Dulcea – (entering with a cup of coffee) All right boys, we're about to start. Cameraman – And we're on in five, four, three, two… Peter – Good morning and welcome to the Angel Grove Sports Box, located in Angel Grove's abandoned warehouse district for a fight that will finally decide the king of the Megazords. I'll be your commentator in the Sports Box, Peter Smith. Jason – And I'll be your special guest commentator for this match, the original Red Mighty Morphin' and former Gold Zeo Ranger, Jason Scott. Everyone had their favourite Megazord, but three Megazords in particular stood out for their sheer size and strength. Peter – That's right – the Shogun Megazord, the Super Zeo Megazord and the Rescue Megazord. Because each Megazord is made up of five individual warrior zords, these three zords tower over all other zord combinations. Jason – Yep, and today we'll be seeing what happens when these three zords go postal, so get your front row seats quickly – this is gonna get explosive. Peter – Absolutely. Although, going by the sheer size of these zords, front row probably wouldn't be terrifically safe. Actually, come to think of it, neither would back row. Jason – Speaking of the zords, here they all come now! The Super Zeo Zords are flying through the air towards us, while the Rescue Zords have rolled out of their underground hanger, and racing towards the battleground, each one suddenly transforms into high-stance mode. Peter – And with two sets of zords already on the battlefield, the Shogun Zords come powering through the city. Now, all combatants are here, and the battle is ready to begin. Jason – It's all gone quite now as the three sets of zords, all on robotic automatic control, wait for the signal to be given. Dulcea, if you would. Dulcea – Thanks Jason. All right then (here she picks up a megaphone and holds it up), let's rumble! Peter – And the three groups of zords have immediately broken rank, each zord seeking out and charging towards its counterparts of the same colour! Five separate zord battles are now going on here today. Jason – The Blue Shogun Zord immediately begins to wail into Siren Blaster, smashing the zord back with a kick to the stomach followed by a right hook. It turns to Super Zeo Zord III, but the zord ably defends itself. Peter – Behind them, each of the three yellow zords is standing in a triangle, lashing out at the other two. Right backhand to Star Racer from the Shogun Zord! High kick to the Shogun Zord from the Yellow Super Zeo Zord! And the battle rages on! Jason – A little way over, Thunder Loader and Super Zeo Zord IV appear to be duking it out as the black Shogun Zord watches, appearing to be biding its time… Peter – Wait a minute – all of the battles have ended and all the zords are backing off. Oh I see, they've all formed their groups again – Super Zeo, Rescue and Shogun. The dust settles, and they're all standing together. Strength in numbers, perhaps? Jason – (shaking his head) I think it's more than that Peter. Check that out! The Super Zeo Zords have lifted off, and are all splitting up and reforming. Peter – In a flash of light, the Super Zeo Megazord forms and comes crashing back to Earth. It now easily towers over all the other zords. Jason – The Shogun Zords appear to be backing off a little, but the Rescue Zords stand firm. And now we see why – all five Rescue Zords are splitting up and reforming. The almighty Rescue Megazord now stands alongside it's opponent. Peter – Both Megazords now turn back towards the five Shogun Zords, only to receive a mild shock – the Shogun Megazord has formed as well! We have a classic three-way stand-off here, ladies and gentlemen! Jason – Yep – the three mighty Megazords now tower over the surrounding buildings. Everything is suddenly still here, ladies and gentlemen. You can almost feel the uneasy tension in the air here. Peter – And this momentary cease-fire gives us an excellent opportunity to cross to our on the spot commentator, Ecliptor. Hey Ecliptor, are you there? The screen changes to show Ecliptor standing amid wreckage and fiery debris. Ecliptor – Why do I always get stuck right in the middle of the most violent zord battles? Peter – Because you're such a nice guy. Ecliptor – Because I'm a sucker. Peter – (smiling) Yeah, that too. So Ecliptor, what are you thoughts on the battle? Ecliptor – Well, I think that the favourites for this fight are definitely the Rescue Zords, since not only are they the only ever set of triple-changing zords but also the latest and therefore the strongest. The Shogun Megazord is pretty much a non-factor, and I think that the Super Zeo Zords will have a hard time beating the Rescue Zords. Peter – Sorry to cut you short Ecliptor, but the three colossal Megazords have just started powering towards one another. Ladies and gentlemen, the real fight has begun. Jason – The Shogun Megazord is moving much faster than the other Megazords, and crossing over several city blocks, it reaches the Rescue Megazord first. And the fight is on! The Rescue Megazord has lashed out with a low kick, but the Shogun pushes the Megazord's foot away and floors its opponent with a tremendous uppercut! Ouch. Peter – With the Rescue Megazord on the ground, the Shogun Megazord advances towards the Super Zeo Megazord. But the Super Zeo Megazord charges forward to meet its opponent! Jason – The two zords meet and immediately begin throwing punches! The Shogun Zord ducks under a right hook but the Super Zeo Zord expected the move and smashes its enemy with a left roundhouse punch! Peter – Ooh, the Shogun Megazord felt that. The Super Zeo Megazord takes several steps forward to follow up its assault, but the Shogun Zord recovers quickly and charges forward, shouldering the Super Zeo Megazord out of the way! Jason – Whoa! The Rescue Megazord is back, and it slams its fists against the Shogun Megazord and knocks it aside. Turning to the Super Zeo Megazord, it continues the attack that the Shogun Megazord started, forcing the Super Zeo Megazord to continue fighting. Peter – The Super Zeo Megazord appears to be holding up, and it's certainly fighting well. Block, attack, punch, kick, headbutt! Ooh, a direct blow to the chest sends it crashing backwards. Jason – The Rescue Megazord turns, but the Shogun Megazord is already back on it's feet and charging towards it! Peter – The Shogun Megazord reaches its opponent, but it didn't count upon being fired on! The Rescue Megazord has its twin hand weapons out and it fires on the Shogun Megazord, forcing it back in a blaze of sparks and fire! Jason – As the Shogun Megazord stumbles back, the Super Zeo Megazord stays at a distance, wary of the Rescue Megazord's newfound advantage. It clearly wasn't expecting this. Peter – You're right there – it certainly wasn't. The Rescue Megazord turns and, with its full attention on the Super Zeo Megazord, it doesn't notice that the Shogun Megazord has made a startlingly fast recovery and is inching towards it… Jason – There appears to be some kind of teamwork strategy happening between the Shogun and Super Zeo Megazords, as the Super Zeo Megazord steps back slowly, with the Rescue Megazord's full attention on it. Peter – The Shogun Megazord is now only about fifty metres away from the Rescue Megazord…whoa! With a sudden burst of power, the Shogun Megazord charges forward! Jason – The Rescue Megazord hears the commotion and swings around suddenly, already firing its weapons, but the Shogun Zord is too close, and it smashes its fists down at the two guns, instantly destroying them and forcing the Rescue Megazord to drop them. Peter – And the Rescue Megazord appears to be stunned from the attack. Doesn't matter though, because the Super Zeo Megazord has leaped forward and attacked the Shogun Megazord, slamming the zord back with a left roundhouse punch! Jason – The Shogun Megazord recovers, then charges back… Peter – Wait a second, the Rescue Megazord isn't so stunned after all! It raises its arms, and suddenly, its two artillery cannons form! The Megazord holds the cannons up and aims them at the other two zords! Jason – Wow. But the two other Megazords are busy trading blows, and don't see the danger! Peter – Whoa! The Rescue Megazord fires! A huge barrage of laser blasts and fireballs explode out of the artillery cannons, and cross the battleground. But in the nick of time, the Super Zeo Megazord leaps to one side! Jason – But the Shogun Megazord didn't get out of the way in time, and the blast smashesw into the zord! Shogun Megazord – THWOOM!!! Peter – And with one opponent taken care of, the Rescue Megazord turns towards the Super Zeo Megazord, but the zord has already gotten to its feet, and racing forward, it slams its fists against the shoulder mounted cannons! Jason – The Rescue Megazord stumbles backwards, and the two cannons go flying, crashing to the ground about five hundred metres away. Right when it needed them the most, too… Peter – And now the fight is on! The two zords leap at each other with fists raised, and begin trading blows at a furious pace! Jason – You're right there Peter. The Rescue Megazord punches its opponent in the stomach, but the Super Zeo Megazord bashes away its fists before retaliating with a right backhand that sends the Rescue Megazord crashing back. Peter – But the Megazord recovers, and leaps forward. This is a great fight! Kick, punch, jump, dodge, it's all happening here today! Jason – The Rescue Megazord has ducked under a roundhouse punch, before slamming the Super Zeo Megazord back. Hang on a minute, it then backs off and turns the other way. What's it doing? Peter – Heading for its lost cannons! The Rescue Megazord reaches its major weapons, bending down to pick them up… Jason – But what it doesn't see is that the Super Zeo Megazord has also brought out the heavy artillery, forming the two Super Zeo Megazord sabres. Peter – Now wielding its two swords, the Super Zeo Megazord races forward. Wow, its incredible that things this big can move so fast. The Rescue Megazord has by now grasped its cannons, and it stands up and spins around… Jason – Only to watch as the Super Zeo Megazord rams its sabres right through each of the artillery cannons, completely destroying them. Ouch. Peter – Having destroyed its major threat, the Super Zeo Megazord drops the sabres and plows into the stunned Rescue Megazord, smashing it back with a roundhouse punch before knocking it to the ground with a kick. Jason – The Rescue Megazord gets back to its feet, but it is helpless as the Super Zeo Megazord continues the assault, beating the tar out of its opponent. Peter – And with one final punch, the Rescue Megazord falls to the ground in an explosion of sparks and smoke. Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a clear winner. Jason – Yep. The Super Zeo Megazord stands over the other zords victoriously, having proven itself to be the most powerful of all Megazords, triumphing over all its opponents. Peter – Yeah, what a great match, but all good things have to come to an end. Jason, it's been great working with you, and to the folks at home, be sure to join us again next week when we'll be broadcasting live from Angel Grove Sports Stadium.
