Curiousity & the Cat

The Rangers battled another new monster, unknown to both sides that they were being watched. A dark shadowed figure stood amongst the trees, watching with cat-like curiosity. After a while, the Rangers gained the upper hand and defeated the monster. Seeing the outcome, the mysterious watcher teleported away.
The Rangers returned to the Astro Megaship. They all retired to their quarters for some much needed sleep. As they slept peacefully in their bunks, a figure dressed in black crept silently through the halls, and headed for the bridge, undetected.
On the bridge, Alpha was doing routine systems checks when the dark robed figure entered. Turning around, Alpha became startled and was about to sound the alarm.
What do you want?" the small robot asked in a quivering voice.
"I won't harm you," the cloaked person replied.
"Who are you?" Alpha asked. "And why didn't you trip any alarms?" In response, the person drew back the hood of the cloak to reveal a feline-looking Power Ranger. "You're a Power Ranger?! From where?"
"Felar," answered the Black Felarian Power Ranger. "That was until Dark Specter and his forces destroyed it."
"How'd you survive?" Alpha asked.
"The fighting went on for days, till I was the only one left," replied the Felarian Ranger sadly. "The fighting destroyed more than half the planet. I gathered up my fallen comrade's morphers and left to find Zordon. I arrived on Eltar, just shy of when Dark Specter had attacked. I learned that he had kidnapped Zordon. When I heard rumors that there was a team of Rangers currently engaging Astronema in battle, I had to come." She paused before continuing. "I've been watching the Rangers for several days now, and I became curious as to who they are." Her heightened senses alerted her that someone was coming towards the bridge. Not wanting to be seen, she teleported away. Just then, Carlos walked onto to the bridge dressed in sweat pants and a t-shirt. "Alpha, who were you talking to?" the Black Ranger asked, looking at Alpha, who only shrugged.
The next day, the Rangers went shopping at the mall. They were unaware that they were being followed. Except Carlos, who had this feeling that they were being watched. A couple of times, he would turn around, but there would be no one there. Why do I get this feeling like we're being followed, the Black Ranger thought silently. "Guys, I think someone is following us," he spoke outloud to his friends.
His friends stopped and looked around, and only noticed the other shoppers milling around. "There's no one there, except the other shoppers," Cassie stated.
"I think you're just being paranoid, Carlos," TJ chuckled, as he and the other Rangers continued walking.
"But I'm telling you that I saw someone," Carlos exclaimed as he followed his friends. What his friends didn't know was that Carlos was right. A shadow emerged from around a corner and continued following them.
The Felarian Ranger was curious. Curious about the people of Earth. And you know the saying about what happened to a curious cat.
