Time Scale: Straight after "'Part Five'.Cube 6
By Matt

"Sorry Jenzar!" Tommy commented. "It may be your law that they will be put to death, but it's not our place to carry that out. We've got a duty to take these Rangers to the Galactic Council to let them decide what happens to them!"

"Very well, I can understand your decision. So they're coming with us then, I can live with that. So let's get going!" Jenzar replied. They walked over and got the Trintan Rangers up onto their feet. "Move!" he said sharply, pushing them along.

"Okay, how far have we got to go?" Tommy asked Zeo Yellow.

"Not far now. That door over there should be an elevator up to the top level, then we'll have about three more rooms to get through." Tanya reported.

"Right, let's get going!" Tommy said with fake confidence. The six Zeo Rangers and White Trintan led the four rogue Trintans across the room. Tanya stepped ahead and pressed the button. The elevator door slid aside, revealing a large booth.

Suddenly, Trinta Blue pulled away from Adam and managed to get a hand free. He pulled a small clear ball from his belt. He rolled it into the booth and the other Trintans jumped aside. Taking a hint from them, the rest of the Rangers jumped aside. The ball flashed quickly a few times then exploded. In a massive crash, the elevator car crashed down to the bottom of the shaft.

They all rushed around the blue Trintan and picked him up angrily. "Why the hell did you do that?" Jason snapped.

"I will not allow you to take us to our deaths! Execution is not an honorable death." Trinta Blue snapped.

"And what is an honorable death?" Adam asked.

"Something like... this!" he called out. He took hold of Kat and headed for the elevator shaft. "I'm going down, and I'm taking you with me!" Still holding onto her, he jumped down the shaft.

"Nooooo!" Kat screamed, her voice fading as she fell further down the shaft.

"KAT!" they all called out, rushing over to the doorway. They looked down but there was no sign of her.

"KAT, CAN YOU HEAR US?" Tommy shouted. They were all silent as they listened, but they heard nothing. They stood for several minutes, waiting for any sign of life, but they didn't hear anything.

Tommy turned to the three remaining rogue Trintans. He grabbed Silver round the neck and slammed him against the wall. "This is all your fault. All of you!" he shouted in the alien's face.

"No, I... I..." he stuttered.

"I don't want to hear your excuses! You killed Kat, you bastard!" Tommy shouted, his grip tightening.

"Tommy, don't!" Jason said, pulling his leader away from the silver Ranger.

There was silence once more. Again it was Tommy who spoke first. "Start climbing! We're getting out of here and then you're gonna pay for what you've done!" He pushed the Trintans forward. The cables were still hanging down in the shaft. Adam and Rocky took hold and started climbing, followed by the three rogue Trintans and their leader. Finally, Tommy, Jason and Tanya started climbing.

It was well over a two hour climb. By the time they reached the top, they ached all over, but none f them even felt it. They felt completely numb over the loss of Kat. It had been all that was on their minds the whole way up. The Trintans could have escaped and they wouldn't even have noticed. Fortunately, they hadn't tried anything else. They were probably too scared of what the Red Zeo Ranger would do if he got mad again. He had near enough choked the Silver Trintan to death and they could just tell he was looking for an excuse to actually do it.

"What way?" Tommy snapped.

"Over there." Tanya replied quietly.

They walked over and opened the next door. Yet again, another identical room. This one had doors on all four walls, but none on the floor or ceiling.

"Traps?" Tommy asked.

"I don't know, their computer shows the route, but not traps. Only one way to find out!" Tanya commented.

Tommy held out his hand for a discus, but nothing appeared. "What happened?" he asked.

"I don't know! We must have used them all!" Tanya replied.

"Then what do we do?" Rocky asked.

"I say we send them!" Tommy snapped, pushing one of the Trintans forward.

"I'll go!" Jason offered.

"No, we'll find another way to test it!" Tanya said, seeming to be the only one thinking straight. Not suprising considering what they were all feeling!

The stakes are really getting high now, pick carefully this time, you've already lost one of them!!! Tune in next week for the next part. Here's the choices:

Send the Trintans across the room to test for traps. Let Jason go to find out by himself. Try and find another way.

So remember, vote well and May the Power protect them (from you! LOL)
