Traitor II: Brad's Betrayal

Monday, November 7, 1994 ~ Vandalia, Ohio

The team was at school. On the surface everything seemed normal, but that was just on the surface.

Zach said, "Um excuse me, you just bumped me."

Roger said, "Oh, oops sorry, I meant to shove you." He shoved Zach into a wall.

Mandy got in-between the two of them, and said, "Will the two f you stop it?"

Roger said, "Who do you think you are?"

Mandy said, "I'm your leader."

Zach said, "When were fighting evil. At school, your just another girl freshman."

Mandy said, "Did you say. I was just a girl?"

Zach said, "I'm sorry, do you want me to speak up?"

Mandy said, "Nah, just shut up." She popped him in the mouth.

Roger said, "Way to go, you're..." He slumped against the wall. Mandy had hit him too.

Davis was moping about. "Oh why can't I destroy a bunch of 9^th graders. Oh things were much easier in the old days."

Just then Davis got an idea.

He said, "There is a rainstorm coming according to the weather. I can use my Electrical Lightning to finish them off, and if Aquanizer tries to help, he'll just make the problem worse, and Flamer will be helpless in the rain. Oh I think this time, I will be victorious."

Meanwhile later that day, the Channel 2, News Station was trying to find something that they could put on the air.

A reporter said, "There is nothing happening. At least noting important. Only thing happening is people shopping for presents. Oh that's excitement."

A voice said, "You want news? How's the true identities of the L-team sound to you?"

The reporter said, "Do you have any proof?"

Brad said, "How's video tapes?"

The reporter said, "Can I see them."

Brad asked, "How much is it worth to ya?"

"Brad where have you been?" A teacher asked.

He said, "I had a doctor's appointment.

The teacher said, "Oh, Ok."

Brad said, "Oh what ever, you jerk." When the teacher walked off.

Mandy asked, "Brad, what's wrong?"

Brad said, "What's wrong is that all my friends are gone. Jacob's suspended, Aren's moved, and Lamont's dead."

Mandy said, "We have to get past all of that. We have a job to do. We have to protect these people from Davis."

Brad said, "Why. Can't the new heroes in town do something. They're the ones with the power to stop him. What can we do?"

Mandy said, "They may have the power, but we're the ones he's after."

Brad said, "Ya, just because we were friends with Lamont."

Mandy said, "And maybe the fact we locked him in a black hole. Or that we stopped Daniel from getting Aren's coin. Maybe it's the fact that we brought Khan from his throne in the future to here. Oh, and there is Kyle who we left for dead off a cliff, and threw back in jail. Maybe it's because Steel Thunder Hawk was created just to kill us. Maybe it's because Lamont made Daniel lose his body or the fact that he trapped him in that vortex for six years. Oh, and lets not forget the fact that we stopped Khan's and Daniel's every attempt to conquer the city. Lets see maybe it's because we trapped him in a black hole!"

Brad said, "Are you done?"

Mandy said, "Yes I am."

The teacher said, "Ok, time to watch that after school special." He turned on the TV, and the class watched the show about a kid doing drugs, when channel 2 interrupted the program.

The news anchor said, "We just got videos proving the true identities of the mysterious L-team."

Mandy said, "What?"

Brad was putting some money in his pocket and said, "What did he say?"

The anchor said, "Watch these videos of the team morphing." They showed all of the team as they called on their powers.

Julie looked at Mandy and said, "That was you up there. You too Brad."

Mandy said, "Brad how did they get videos?"

Brad said, "Maybe Nathan had them left over, and sent them for his final revenge."

Mandy said, "But they had Jim morphing, that was way before Nathan."

Just then it started raining outside.

Davis was standing outside of the storm and said, "Electrical Lightning!" A lightning bolt of electricity hit the water, lighting up everything in sight.

Mandy saw the electrical currents running threw the water. "Davis, come on Brad we have to do something."

Brad said, "Yah, I know."

The teacher said, "Have fun saving the world, and you can finish your report tomorrow."

Mandy said, "Oh how great."

All of the L-team members got outside and saw Davis at the edge of the storm. He said, "Electrical Lightning!" A lightning bolt of Electricity hit the team electrocuting them.

Mandy said, "Oh we can't give up."

A kid said, "Look mommy, it's the L-team."

His mom said, "They look busy honey, ask them for their autograph later."

Mandy said, "Oh, when I find out who exposed us. Oh, I just can't think about it."

Davis said, "Now my time to shine is here. Electrical Lightning!"

A voice said, "Rock Shield!"

A shield of rock appeared in front of the team blocking the lightning.

A voice said, "I am Rockite and I won't let you harm these kids." He jumped and kicked Davis in the head. Then the rain stopped.

Davis said, "No! One more blast and I would have had them."

Rockite said, "Oops, sorry."

Davis said, "Not as sorry as you are going to be. Electrical Lightning!"

Rockite said, "Rock Shield!"

The lightning hit the shield and was stopped dead in its tracks.

Davis said, "Oh, it's not fair." Then he vanished in gray smoke.

Rockite said, "Well I'll be seeing you. Then he disappeared into the sunset."

Liz said, "Um, thanks, whoever you are."

As they were wondering where these heroes come from, a little seven-year-old walked up. He said, "Um excuse me, I saw on the news, you're the L-team?"

Mandy said, "Yes, we are the L-team. What do you want kid an autograph?"

The kid said, "No, but are you also the Railroaders?"

A silence has heard among the team.

Mandy said, "Um yes we are. Can we help you?"

The kid said, "I'm Prince Mathew Cola, and I'm from the future and someone is after me."

Mandy said, "Well there never has been a dull moment."
