The kids in the fourth grade were waiting the coming day. The end of the school year was coming up fast. Next year they would be 5th graders at Morton Middle School, all except for Tina. She would be going to Smith Middle School. So the friends were going to be spending some time together.

Meanwhile Lamont was spending sometime with Jacob and David. David would be going to Smith next year too.

Lamont said, "We'll miss ya."

David said, "Same here."

Meanwhile on the wall a shadow went and crept into the darkness.

Lamont went to the farewell party for Tina. She was a good friend, and that is how it usually starts. Little did he know that in five years he would have a little crush on her, but nothing would happen. In his life it never did.

Some music started playing and Lamont asked for a dance, and Tina and him shared one.

Meanwhile a shadow said, "They thought they had gotten rid of us, but the shadow lives on. The shadow is always here. Even corpses cast shadows. Soon he will pay. Soon, they all will pay."

Back at the party, Jacob and David had joined the group and the seven of them were talking.

Lamont and Tina just finished their dance, and then joined the others.

Lamont raised a bottle of Pepsi and said, "To David and Tina, two friend that we will see again in five years when we reach high school."

Everyone said, "Here, here."

Danny said, "Well, lunch is almost over and we need to get back to class."

They all went their separate ways and Lamont and David were in reading class together.

Lamont said, "These years at Helke have been interesting."

David said, "A lot of things have been after us,"

Lamont said, "You can say that again. Let's see there was Count Daniel Funela, Magical-El-Play, The Tier Upper, The Maniac, Giant, Puppet Master, Mickey Blunt, the Kid Eating Ducks with their King, and finally Darkviot."

David said, "Man and we are just elementary aged kids. Just think of the trouble that we could face in Middle School or High School."

Lamont said, "The one that scared me the most would have to be Count Funela. You remember what we said when we sealed him in that dimension."

Flashback Lamont got the weapon that Dr. Blunt gave him, and he fired it at Danny. A pair of hand cuffs appeared on Danny trapping him.

As Danny screamed, "NO!!! I will make sure you pay, both of you will pay." Then the vortex closed trapping him there.

Reality David said, "But that was two years ago. I don't think that he will be coming back."

Lamont said, "I guess you are right."

Just then the lights went out and everyone except for Lamont and David were unconsis. They saw three shadows on the wall. Lamont and David recognized them. Then two of the shadows merged together and finally the last one merged with the other one.

In the darkness, the shadow grew and a voice said, "Now, you are ours."
