The Coming of the Gold

Lamont and his friends were celebrating their defeat of Joseph.
"I can't believe he's finally gone," Jamie said.
"We blew him into his own time, in the future," Lamont commented.
"Why? Didn't we just finish him off?" Brad asked.
"Because he has his own destiny to fulfill. He is really good at heart," Jessica explained.
"I guess we're done now," Brian realized.
"I don't think so. Joseph's younger daughter is still out there. And we don't know who she married," Chris explained.
"I hope it's just not anyone really bad," Kevin commented.
Kerry was talking to her husband. "Now that my daddy is gone, we're in charge."
"And I am in charge again."
The man stepped out of the shadows; it was Steven Manna. "I have been out of power for almost a year now, and I'm back, better then ever. Merger Staff now!" The staff appeared in his hand, and he transformed into Merger Day. The Merger Staff looked like Zedd's staff, but with an M instead of a Z.
"Bring in the Flying Ant Quantrons," Kerry ordered one of her servants. The creatures were a mixture of the flying Quantrons and the human ants that the Mirror Knight had merged together.
Merger Day raised his staff, and transformed them into Merger Ants. They have the body of a Quantron, with wings, the brain of a human, and the extra pair of arms like an ant, not to mention the strength of an ant. Plus, they had an M on their chests, just like Zedd's putties had had a Z.
"Now is the time," Merger Day said. "Attack!"
The Merger Rangers were leaving the building after the party, when all of a sudden the Merger Ants came out of no where and started to attack.
"We haven't seen these guys in a while," Jamie said.
"Yeah," Chris said. "Let's kick their butts and get out of here."
They attacked the Merger Ants, but for some strange reason, they couldn't get them to go down.
"We're getting beat," Brad said.
"It's Morphin Time!" Lamont cried. They pulled out their crystals. "White Merger Power!" Lamont transformed into the White Merger Ranger.
"Green Merger Power!" Brad Bergman transformed into the Green Merger Ranger.
"Black Merger Power!" Kevin Kucharski transformed into the Black Merger Ranger.
"Pink Merger Power!" Jamie Pounds transformed into the Pink Merger Ranger.
"Blue Merger Power!" Brian Hicks transformed into the Blue Merger Ranger.
"Yellow Merger Power!" Jessica Whitby transformed into the Yellow Merger Ranger.
"Red Merger Power!" Chris Leis transformed into the Red Merger Ranger.
They started to battle again, but still couldn't defeat the Merger Ants.
"I think this might be it," Kevin/Black Ranger said.
Just as they were about to give up, Lamont saw the M on their chests, and remembered fighting Zedd's putties. "Aim for the M! Hit the M!" He punched the M dead center, and the Merger Ant unmerged into pieces and vanished.
Then the rest of the team did the same thing, and the ants vanished.
Merger Day was extremely mad. "I can't believe they defeated them!"
"Yes," Kerry said, "but it took them a while. You know what to do."
"You are right, honey. We'll kick them while they're tired. Power Rangers, you are finished!"
Merger Day raised his staff and aimed it at a human, and then at a watch. Suddenly, they were merged together. "I, Time Keeper, will kick their clocks."
"Time Keeper," Kerry said. "Go down and finish off the Rangers."
"Right," Time Keeper agreed. He then vanished.
The Rangers had just finished the Merger Ants and were about to power down when a monster appeared. "I am Time Keeper, and you are finished."
"Who sent you?" Lamont/White Ranger asked, taking a defensive stance along with the other Rangers.
"Your old friend Steven Manna — Merger Day."
"But we defeated him!" Jamie/Pink Ranger cried.
"No, his teacher Tony Muncher banished him and then you defeated him," Time Keeper said.
"But what brought him back?" Brad/Green Ranger wondered.
"A wedding."
"So he's the one who married Kerry!" Jessica/Yellow Ranger realized.
"That's right," Time Keeper challenged.
They attacked him, but he just blocked all their punches.
"We can't keep this up much longer," Brian/Blue Ranger said.
Just then, a beam of energy came out of nowhere and Time Keeper was down. The energy appeared on a nearby hill, and it was Trey the Gold Ranger.
"Trey, long time no see," Lamont/White Ranger said.
"You know me?" Trey/Gold Ranger asked, surprised.
"We will meet in the future."
"Ah," Trey/Gold Ranger said, "a time traveler. I heard a legend about you. You're the leader the Merger Rangers, aren't you?"
"Yes," Lamont/White Ranger said proudly.
"You will be home soon — as well as true to your age — and this will help." The top of his staff opened, and out came the Gold Merger Crystal. "This crystal is the next step in your quest." Then, Trey vanished.
The crystal appeared in Lamont's hand and he demorphed. The white crystal was in his other hand.
The others demorphed, too, walking over to see the gold crystal.
"Who are we going to find to hold the Gold Crystal?" Brad asked.
"Me," Lamont said.
"But who's going to be the White Ranger?" Jamie questioned.
"Follow me," Lamont ordered.
They went and found David, and gave him the white crystal. Then they told him the story.
"So are you up to it?" Lamont asked when he had finally finished.
"You bet I am," David replied.
They went to face the Time Keeper, who had revived. "Coming back for more, huh? I'll rip you apart!"
"It's time," Jamie said.
"Time? Time for what?" the TIme Keeper asked, confused.
"It's Morphin Time!" Lamont cried. They pulled out their crystals.
"White Merger Power!" David Erbaugh transformed into the White Merger Ranger.
"Green Merger Power!" Brad Bergman transformed into the Green Merger Ranger.
"Black Merger Power!" Kevin Kucharski transformed into the Black Merger Ranger.
"Pink Merger Power!" Jamie Pounds transformed into the Pink Merger Ranger.
"Blue Merger Power!" Brian Hicks transformed into the Blue Merger Ranger.
"Yellow Merger Power!" Jessica Whitby transformed into the Yellow Merger Ranger.
"Red Merger Power!" Chris Leis transformed into the Red Merger Ranger.
"Gold Merger Power!" Lamont transformed into the Gold Merger Ranger.
"What is this?" the Time Keeper asked.
"Your defeat. Merger Sword, now!" Lamont cried. The Merger Sword appeared in his hands. He leapt in the air, striking the monster down.
KA-BOOM!
Time Keeper was destroyed, and they all demorphed. Where the Time Keeper had once stood, there was now a human and a watch.
"They will think again," David began, "before doing that again."
"Ah, be quiet," Lamont said. They all started to laugh.
Meanwhile, Merger Day was surprisingly pleased. "Laugh now, Rangers, but I have a plan that will strip you of your powers."
