Series Finale: Destiny's Duel
By Lamont Stewart

August, 1988

A few months had past since, Lamont had disappeared, and Magical had killed off the entire school.

In the lost woods behind the school a figure was walking in the shadows. He made his way to Helke Park, which was 100 yards away from the school.

He got out of the shadows, and made his way to the playground where he started swinging on the swing. As the sun rose on the horizon you could make out the figure, it was Lamont.

He stopped swinging and went to the playground area and said, "It sure is quiet. I wish my friends were here with me."

Just then the sunlight disappeared; Lamont looked up and saw an eclipse in the sky. "It's beginning," Lamont said.

It got dark quickly, and he looked around to see if anybody was coming. That is when he heard a crash. He quickly turned around and saw the figure coming. He recognized the person coming towards him. He said, "The Maniac."

The Maniac in his hoverchair fired his lasers at Lamont who dodged the blast by doing a summersault in the air. He looked back and saw where he was standing; there was hole in the wood.

Lamont said, "Why are you doing this?"

He said, "When the right amount of money is involved, you would be amazed what some people would do." He put the chair at full power, and flew right towards him.

Lamont ducked out of the way, and grabbed some kind of wand type thing off of the bottom of the hoverchair. Then he turned around and faced the chair again as the Maniac turned around too. Soon they were facing face to face.

The Maniac fired another laser right at Lamont, but this time he stood his ground. He waited until the laser was right at his chest and he batted it away, with the wand he got. The laser when right back at the chair, frying the weapons.

Then Lamont held the wand to his chest and concentrated. Then he said, "Full power now." Then he held the wand out and a beam of energy fired out of it, and struck the Maniac.

KA-BOOM!

Lamont sighed and then felt a cold breeze in the air. He turned around and saw her. He said, "Magical-El-Play."

She said, "I'm glad you remember me. Too bad you are the same pathetic kid."

He smiled and said; "I'm not the same kid as before. I've trained, become smarter and stronger. I've also got this new weapon, not to mention the fact that I am now a Christian."

She said, "Do you think all that stuff can help you?"

But Lamont didn't hear her. He was saying a quick prayer, and then he quickly got up. Magical was mad. "Ignore me will ya!" She fired her energy right at Lamont.

He said, "Full power now!" Firing the wand back at her. The energy clashed in the middle, but for a while it seemed like Magical was winning.

Just then he pulled out the Pink Crystal and attached it to the end of the wand. Then fired again, and this time the blast was stronger.

She said, "Not one of the Merger Crystals."

"The what," he said.

Just then Magical's powers got stronger. "I'm finishing this."

Lamont said, "No, I won't let you win you witch."

Just then the sprits of Lamont's friends surrounded him. Each of them grabbed the wand.

Michael Poleman said, "Full Michael Power!"

David Erbaugh said, "Full David Power!"

Jacob McLaughlin said, "Full Jacob Power!"

Bobby Wertz said, "Full Bobby Power!"

Lamont Stewart said, "Full Merger Power!"

A lot of energy surrounded Lamont and it was fired through the wand right towards Magical.

She said, "No this is not possible." The energy blast vaporized her energy, and started to vaporize her. "This isn't enough to defeat me."

Lamont said, "I don't want to defeat you, I just want to stop you!"

"NO!" Screamed Magical. A pink sphere surrounded her, and then the sky was filled with a great pink light.

Lamont closed his eyes so the light wouldn't blind him. Then he heard a voice say, "Count backwards from ten, when you get to zero open your eyes."

Lamont said, "OK. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, zero." Then he opened his eyes.

David said, "So isn't the first day of school exciting."

Lamont said, "It's cool, but I can't wait till recess."

Bobby said, "Neither can I."

Jacob said, "We should get to work."

Michael said, "You were always to serious."

Lamont said, "Ya, Mr. Technical."

They all laughed as a figure loomed in the shadows. He took out his communicator and said, "Everything is back to normal, and none of them remember anything, and hopefully they never will. This is agent @777 signing off."

David said, "Hey Lamont what's that?"

Lamont said, "Oh, that's just a good luck charm, my parents gave me this summer."

David said, "Wow that looks like a Pink Crystal inside."
