The White Fright

Scene opens on Cape Hatteras lighthouse training grounds where a large karate festival is being held. Jerry is fighting a challenger and wins.
Announcer: And now for our last contestant, Miss Theresa Goldburg.
A girl in a white karate outfit joins from behind the announcer. She has brown eyes and long black hair. She and Jerry face off. The other three teens, Matthew, Keith, and Eugene, are standing in the crowd.
Matthew: This girl's giving Jerry a run for his money!
Keith: Well, if I hadn't been beat in the second match, I would've given her a tough fight!
Eugene: Jerry's a good fighter, he won't lose without honor.
Theresa defeats Jerry twice and is announced the winner. Later, Jerry talks with her.
Jerry: You've got some good moves. Where did you take classes?
Theresa: I took Tae Kwan Do classes for a year and never got past Dragon Belt. I was lucky to get this far in the tournament.
Jerry: Well, good luck in the future.
Theresa: You too.
They shake hands and she walks off. The other three guys appear behind Jerry.
Matthew: Tough challenger, Jerry?
Jerry: She was very well-trained.
Keith: I'll say! Ouch, well trained in karate and beauty. Winning combination!
Eugene: Let's go back to Youth Center. Bert is offering a special on snow cones and ice cream sundaes today!
The scene changes to a fortress on the moon. Rita is looking out through a telescope at the teens.
Rita: Those rangers make me sick! Why can't we be rid of them?
She turns around and three monsters are standing behind her. One is a gold monkey, another a small troll, and the third a scientist.
Goldar: Perhaps we should send one of our monsters to attack the rangers.
Rita: Will you quit thinking?! I'm the leader of this outfit! Besides, everytime we do that, it just gets blasted by the Megazord's Power Dagger!
Finster: Then let's use the most efficient of our methods. Let's use that ancient coin that washed up on the shores of the Sea of Sorrow.
Rita: Brilliant idea! I'm just glad I thought of it first. We'll send the White Power Coin to a certain person and put that person under a spell, making that person my evil ranger! Excellent!
Scene changes to the juice bar. The four friends are sitting at a table eating snow cones.
Keith: So Jerry, how many moves did she land before you fell?
Jerry: She had a good counter-block and sent me down before I had time to count.
Eugene: It wasn't but one minute and thirty-three seconds after the match had started that you went down.
Matthew: She was just lucky.
Keith: Hold on guys! Babe on board!
Theresa walks in the room wearing a white and pink dress. She sits at the counter and orders a sundae. Jerry walks up and takes the seat next to her.
Theresa: Hi, Jerry.
Jerry: Hi, Theresa.
Theresa: Do you live around here?
Jerry: Yeah, I live on Fourth. Have you just moved?
Theresa: Yeah. My Dad's job moved him here and the family had to come, too. We're living on Terra Cotta.
Jerry: You like sundaes?
Theresa: Of course! Hot fudge is my passion!
Jerry: Bert makes very good hot fudge sundaes!
Theresa: Who's that over there playing Killer Instinct?
Jerry: That's Keith. He's the undisputed champion of the Youth Center.
Theresa: Let's see if I can change that.
She gets up and walks over to the game. She sticks a quarter in and presses a button on player 2's side.
Theresa: Are you up for a challenge?
Keith: Bring it on!
Theresa moves the cursor over and picks Jago. Keith picks Fulgore.
Keith: I must warn you. Jago is the fighter I hate the most!
The two fighters enter Jago's shrine arena and fight. Keith lands a 14-hit combo and causes Jago's first life bar to go away. Jago gets up and lands a 10-hit combo.
Keith: That was because I was feeling sorry.
Fulgore lands two 12-hit combos and kills Jago.
Keith: And because I'm feeling merciful today.
Keith presses a few buttons on the console and Fulgore puts his arm out to Jago.
Announcer in game: Humiliation!
Jago gets up and dances for a few seconds and then turns his head.
Keith: Sorry, babe. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Better luck next time.
Theresa: And believe me, there will be a next time!
Theresa turns and leaves.
The next scene, she is walking down the street when a bunch of putties appear and take her down an alley. Theresa tries to fight the putties, but there is no room and there are too many of them. The putties disappear with Theresa and reappear in Rita's fortress.
Rita: Don't be afraid, Theresa. I'm Rita Repulsa.
Theresa: Of course! The news tells us everything. The Power Rangers will stop you!
Rita: Not after I put my new plan into action. Goldar!
Goldar grabs Theresa and restrains her. Rita runs over to a crystal ball and waves her hand over it. A skull crosses the room flashes his eyes in correspondence.
Rita:
Shoujo yo shinwa ni nare!
Kanashimi ga sohite hajimaru.
Dakishimeta inochi no katachi,
Sono yume ni mezameta toki.
Dare yori mo hikari wo hanatsu,
Shoujo yo shinwa ni nare!
Mezamenasai aoi no senshi yo!
A white rushing glory covers Theresa as she drifts off into a trance. Minutes later, her eyes pop open and her eyes glow with a white light.
Rita: The transformation is complete. Now, White Ranger, take the sixth power coin and destroy the Power Rangers!
Theresa: Yes, my Empress!
Scene changes to Youth Center where the friends are seated. Their communicators beep and they all proceed toward the game alcove where no one is presently located. Jerry presses the side button and a voice is heard.
Alpha: Rangers, Goldar is attacking the quary outside Cape Hatteras! I'll teleport you to his location.
Colored energy surrounds them and they leave the Youth Center. They arrive at the quary and see a large monkey staring down at them.
Matthew: Now that's what I call king-sized!
Eugene: It's morphin' time!
The four held their morphers and called the names of their dinosaurs.
Matthew: Iguanadon!
Keith: Brachiosaurus!
Eugene: Styracosaur!
Jerry: Allosaurus!
The four were immediately morphed into the colorful Power Rangers.
Jerry(Orange): All right, guys. We need dinozord power, now!
Four colossal machines came and the rangers jumped into the cokpits of each of them.
Matthew(Sky Blue): Matthew's here. Iguanadon's on the warpath!
Keith(Brown): This is Keith. Brachiosaurus is ready!
Eugene(Aquamarine): Eugene here. Styracosaur's armed and lethal!
Jerry(Orange): This is Jerry. Allosaur's looking hungry! Okay, guys, let's bring them together!
Brachiosaurus spilt down the middle and became a pair of legs. Allosaurus folded over and became an amr and a part of the middle body. Iguanadon became the other arm. Styracosaurus opened out and became the head. The four faced Goldar in the gigantic Megazord.
Matthew(Sky Blue): This is different. Goldar looks as if he doesn't want to fight.
Eugene(Aquamarine): It has to be a trick.
Jerry(Orange): Just wait him out. Don't let your defenses down!
Goldar and Megazord stood for a while. Finally, a white was seen and a white figure appeared on top of the Megazord. The figure jumped down into the cockpit room and threw the rangers out. The white person then landed on the ground in front of the rangers. We can see that the figure is a ranger with a white and gold diamonds around the chest and collar. The figure has gold bands around her shoulder and glove bands.
White: So, the mighty Power Rangers.
Orange: Who are you?
White: I'm the evil White Ranger. I'm here to destroy you!
Sky Blue: Well, you're out of luck!
White: Am I now? I have your zords.
Instantly, the zords split apart and are returned to their places.
Brown: If it's a fight you want, a fight you'll get!
Keith pulled a small blade blaster out of his pocket and jumped at the White Ranger. The White Ranger pulled a matching blade out of her pouch and hit Keith across the chest. Keith fell to the ground and picked himself back up.
White: Don't do the crime if you can't do the time, player!
Brown: Theresa?
White: Surprised? This is the new me!
Theresa brought the blade down on Keith, but another blade struck it.
Orange: Theresa, martial arts teaches us to fight fairly.
White: Martial arts was never this much fun!
She hit Jerry's blade blaster away and the four regrouped.
Aquamarine: We may not have our zords, but we still have our weapons!
Brown: No, that's Theresa in there!
Orange: If some part of her is still good, she will be returned to her normal state when we fire.
Brown: Then let's do it!
The four pulled out their weapons and struck them together.
Sky Blue: Dino Cannon!
Matthew threw up his weapon and it became the central cannon.
Brown: Power Stars!
Keith threw his throwing stars up and they latched onto the sides of the cannon.
Aquamarine: Dino Batons!
Eugene threw up his stick and it joined the other two in the air.
Orange: Power Blade!
Jerry threw up the Power Blade and the weapon was complete. It fell down and the rangers caught it.
All: Fire!
The weapons let out a blast of light which hit Theresa and caused her to waver. Stumbling, she heard a voice.
Rita: White Ranger, return here at once!
White: Yes, my queen!
Theresa vanished and the four returned to the Command Center.
Zordon: It appears that Rita has the final Power Coin that was found near the Sea of Sorrow.
Jerry: Is there anything we can do for Theresa?
Zordon: Rita's spell was strong, but the blast from the weapons has greatly weakened it. It will not take much effort to release her.
Keith: But what if Rita renews the spell.
Zordon: Once Rita has cast a spell, she cannot revive it. However, she may call forth her hidden zord.
Eugene: Hidden zord? I thought we owned the only dinozords.
Zordon: Centuries ago, Rita had a weapon that was incomparable with any other living being. This was the Velociraptor dinozord. It possessed great strength and agility.
Matthew: And where is that zord now?
Zordon: It was sealed deep beneath the earth long ago by a shining source of energy. I fear Rita has already awakened it. Observe.
The large globe in the center activated and the Raptor zord was seen destroying the town.
Zordon: In your last battle with the White Ranger, much of her was converted back to good. The zords have returned to their places of refuge. It will not take much to stop Theresa. Hurry, rangers!
Jerry: We're on our way. Back to Action!
The four appeared on the ground near the Raptor zord. Theresa was seen in the cockpit of the Raptor zord.
White: Hey, you four! Witness now the power of evil! I am in command of the most powerful zord of all! Try to stop me, I dare you!
Brown: We'll do everything in our power to stop you. Brachiosaur Dinozord, now!
Sky Blue: Iguanadon Dinozord, now!
Aquamarine: Styracosaurus Dinozord, now!
Orange: Allosaurus Dinozord, now!
The four other zords appeared and surrounded Raptor.
Orange: Theresa, stop this! Look at the destruction you have caused!
White: I know. It's lovely. isn't it?
Sky Blue: No, Theresa, you're destroying the town that we live in. That you live in!
White: Well, good riddance!
Brown: Theresa, forget Rita. She wants to destroy Earth and all those that stand in her way.
White: She's my empress. I will serve her until she no longer has any use for me.
Aquamarine: She doesn't have you completely. Some part of you is still good. We can sense the conflict.
White: There is no conflict!
Orange: Theresa, we will get through to you. A challenge is the only way. You and I, now!
White: You will be destroyed.
The two jumped out of the cockpits of their zords and landed on the ground. They fought and Jerry was beaten back. Theresa grabbed a long spear and pointed it at Jerry.
White: This is my Raptor Spear. A deadly addition to my new arsenal.
Orange: Go ahead, use it. You can kill me, but you can't destroy the Power Rangers. Wherever there is evil, we will always be there to stop it.
White: Prepare to die, ranger!
Theresa raised the spear, but began to tremble. She threw the spear and it landed far from Jerry. She fell to the ground and began to cry. The rest of the rangers arrived on the scene.
Orange: Some part of you is good. We have merely called that part to the surface.
White: Why must it be so hard to follow orders?
Aquamarine: Because you are now torn between wanting to join us or to stay loyal to your mistress.
White: I will try to resist.
Brown: Don't resist. If you join us, we will protect you from Rita.
Jerry kneels down and embraces the trembling person.
Orange: Please join us in our fight. We could use your help. There's always room for one more in the Power Rangers.
White: I don't know if I can.
Orange: Don't just do it for the world. Do it for me.
White: For you, Jerry.
Brown: For all of us.
Theresa leaned into Jerry's grip and a surge of white energy left her. She was seen in her normal clothes in Jerry's embrace.
Theresa: Thank you, Jerry.
A white communicator appeared on Theresa's arm and activated.
Zordon: Congratulations, Theresa. You have successfully crossed over to the side of good. Our fight will not always be an easy one, but I believe your weapons will be of help to us. Observe.
The four zords came together and formed Megazord. The Raptor zord ran towards the Megazord and folded apart to become huge cannons on the arms.
Zordon: This is Mega-Raptorzord.
Orange: Unbelievable!
Theresa: I hope I haven't caused too much trouble.
Brown: Hey, you were under a spell. We'd risk anything for a friend.
Theresa: Thanks.
Theresa and Jerry stand up. The five join hands and look towards the sky. Theresa's communicator activates.
Zordon: Well done, rangers. May the Power protect you.
