Peter – Hello and welcome to the first ever Power Ranger Battle, a colossal battle that sees four of the largest, strongest and most powerful zords ever built facing off in the deserted wilderness between Angel Grove and Stone Canyon. I'll be your commentator, Peter Smith. Zhane – And I'll be your special guest commentator for this week – Zhane, the Silver Ranger. Boy Peter, did Alpha do a great job at building us this Sports Box or what? Peter – I'll say. Zhane – Just out of curiosity, what is this little microphone here for? Peter – It's so we can activate our "'Ultrazord-Proof Force Field' – just the thing to keep us safe. Remember, we'll be dealing with some pretty powerful forces here. Zhane – Couldn't agree more…whoa, the ground has all of a sudden begun to rumble and shake. Does this mean what I think it means? Peter – You bet. Our four combatants, all on robotic automatic control, have entered the arena, and are powering towards us. To the north, we have Titanus, the Dino Carrier Zord. To the east, we have Tor, the Thunder Shuttle Zord. To the south, we have Pyramidas, the zord of the mighty Gold Ranger. And to the west, we have Artillatron approaching at high speed, the Carrier Zord for the powerful Rescue Zords. Zhane – All of the zords have reached the Arena, of sorts, namely this big desert plain that the Sports Box is located on. The dust settles, and all of the zords freeze and fall silent, waiting for the signal to begin. And now it's over to the judge and referee for all of the Power Ranger Battles, the ever lovely Dulcea. Dulcea – Why thank you Zhane. (She shoots some ninjetti-magic fireballs into the air) Let the battle begin! Peter – It's begun! And Titanus has gotten off to a fine start, immediately firing on the opposition with it's side cannons. Zhane – Pyramidas has responded by lifting into the air. Artillatron was not fast enough to avoid Titanus's blasts, however, and sustains some pretty heavy damage. Peter – Ooh, Pyramidas has landed, but is forced to take flight again when Tor swings around and begins firing. Zhane – Tor's blast travels past Pyramidas and smashes into a row of small hills, instantly destroying them in a cataclysmic fiery explosion! Peter – Back to Artillatron and Titanus – Artillatron is on the move, rolling away from an advancing Titanus. But Pyramidas lands again and begins to fire on Artillatron. It is just not the Turbo Carrier Zord's day. But no, Artillatron returns fire, and Pyramidas's exterior erupts in sparks and smoke! Zhane – Titanus follows the Zeo Carrier Zord towards Artillatron, but spies Tor on the way. Peter – As the two zords check each other out, the real question is, will they fire on each other? Zhane – No, there seems to be some kind of "'Mighty Morphin' connection between these two. Tor is slowly turning around, facing the same the way as Titanus… Peter – Wow! Both Titanus and Tor have launched a massive barrage of missiles, laser blasts and fireballs at Pyramidas, which is still busy trading fire with Artillatron. Zhane – Pyramidas recognizes the threat and shoots up vertically – the missiles and laser blasts from Titanus and Tor pass harmlessly underneath. Peter – But now that the target has disappeared, the barrage of laser blasts and fireballs continues, travelling over the desert and away from the battleground… Zhane – Where they smash into the industrial section of Stone Canyon, instantly vaporising about twenty blocks of factories and warehouses! Ouch… Peter – You know, I can bet that I'll be blamed for that. Titanus has broken the momentary cease-fire by turning and firing on Artillatron! The Turbo Carrier Zord is holding up pretty well, but seeing as it can't launch an offensive of its own, it turns and rolls away. Zhane – Pyramidas zooms low overhead Tor, scorching the desert with fire. I can see cracks appearing in the Thunder Carrier Zord's armour… Peter – Which, seeing as how Tor's armour can not be breached, according to Zordon, just goes to show the massive firepower that we're witnessing today folks. Zhane – Titanus has given up on Artillatron and turned to Tor. Will Titanus help its fellow "'Mighty Morphin' zord? Peter – No! It has begun firing on Tor too. Pyramidas has landed, still firing on Tor, and Artillatron, deciding to get in on the act, has also begun blasting Tor. Zhane – Tor is roaring in, uh, pain…sparks are flying, I can see fires breaking out, there are some large cracks in its armour…whoa, get down! Tor – THWOOM! Peter, Zhane and Dulcea all duck for cover as Tor's fiery head flies over the Sports Box. Peter – Looks like the Thunder Carrier Zord just could not stand up to the massive fire power that the other three zords were throwing. The once mighty Tor is now just a pile of flaming wreckage. Zhane – Looks like there's another cease-fire on the field as each of the zords stands its ground and susses out the opposition. Peter – And now would be a good time to go to our ringside commentator, Ecliptor. Zhane – Ecliptor?!? Peter – Ecliptor, you there? Ecliptor – (hiding behind a boulder) Right here Peter. Although I must say, you guys aren't paying me enough for this, what with mountains being vaporized and all… Peter – Well we've lost one of our competitors, but how are the other three holding up? Ecliptor – Well, Pyramidas is holding up well. I guess it's high maneuverability and flight are both massive advantages over the other two zords. Artillatron has about the same amount of maneuverability and fire power as Titanus, but Artillatron just does not have the same experience in this as the Big T. Peter – So, any predictions Ecliptor? Ecliptor – Yeah, that you'll be scraping me off the battleground before the fight is over. Oh well, back to you guys. Peter – Many thanks Ecliptor. Zhane – That was our Ecliptor? Peter – Yeah. And boy, you will not believe the trouble we had sticking him back together after "'Countdown to Destruction'. Zhane – How did you do it? Peter – Super glue. Lots of super glue. Dulcea – (tapping Peter and Zhane on the shoulder) Ah boys, the fight? Zhane – Oh right, sorry. Wow, Pyramidas has immediately separated itself from the other two. And Titanus has quickly rolled away from Artillatron. A classic three-way confrontation here ladies and gentlemen. Peter – Titanus gets off the first shots again, blasting Pyramidas. Pyramidas sends back several lightning bolts, causing Titanus enough damage to cause it to retreat. Zhane – But Artillatron has ambushed Titanus as the Dino Carrier Zord rolls past a canyon! It's the revenge of the Turbo Carrier Zord! Peter – Titanus has returned massive fire, heavily damaging Artillatron. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Pyramidas has appeared. The top of it's pyramid structure is glowing…it's about to perform its monster-killing attack! Zhane – Pyramidas sends off a massive energy charge, and lightning strikes down from a suddenly cloudy sky! But wait! Artillatron has raced away at full speed, and the massive blast has wiped several mountains off the map! Peter – Wow. That was one big explosion. Suddenly, the phone rings. Zhane reaches down and picks up the receiver. Zhane – Hello? A very loud voice on the other end is heard screeching rapidly at Zhane. Zhane – Peter, it's for you. Peter – Who is it? Zhane – The Mayor of Stone Canyon. He says it's pretty urgent. Peter – Well, tell him I'll call him back later. Much later. Zhane puts down the receiver. Peter – I knew I'd be blamed for that…whoa! Pyramidas has launched a massive offensive at Artillatron, blasting the Phantom Ranger's Carrier Zord with all it's weaponry! Zhane – Artillatron returns fire, forcing Pyramidas to back off. Following up on it's attack, Artillatron rolls towards the giant pyramid… Peter – And right into Titanus's sights! Titanus aims low and fires! The Turbo Carrier Zord sustains massive damage! Zhane – I doubt Artillatron will survive this…whoa! Pyramidas has started blasting Artillatron as well! Debris is flying everywhere, and I think Artillatron's superstructure is on fire… Peter – And with Artillatron literally falling apart, the giant carrier zord shuts down completely. Now satisfied, Titanus moves away, rolling back onto the plain where the battle started, the same plain that this Sports Box is located on. Zhane – Pyramidas has returned to the other side of the plain. The two strongest carrier zords are now facing each other… Peter – The dust settles as everything goes quiet and still. I wonder what's happening? They should be blasting each other right now… Zhane – Hang on a minute, Pyramidas is extending itself, growing longer, and… Peter – Taking on the guise of a warrior, the zord stands up on it's "'feet'! Wait, I can see the Zeo Zords in the distance, racing at full speed towards the massive form of Pyramidas. The Sphinx and Taurus are being pulled into Pyramidas's back, as are Kat and Tanya's two zords. The Phoenix, too, is being drawn into the zord, and there's the Red Battle Zord… Zhane – I don't mean to cut in Peter, but Titanus is morphing as well. It's head has dropped down low, and both the Dino Megazord and Dragonzord have appeared, powering towards Titanus. Wait a second, they have formed the MegaDragonzord, and the huge mass of zords have dropped down into the back of Titanus… Ecliptor - (running over the sand dunes towards the Sports Box) Guys! Let me in! It's getting way too dangerous out there for me. Seriously, I am not getting paid enough for this gig. Zhane – Ecliptor, you're not getting paid at all. Ecliptor – I'm not? Oh well, I suppose anything is better than killing Darkonda over and over again. Peter – Okay, for those of you just joining us, there are two fully-armoured and powered-up Ultrazords facing off. Dulcea, with all of these new zords on the field, is this fight still valid? Dulcea – (flipping through the rule book) Well, I can't find anything to say otherwise. And I suppose that if the battle continues, the carrier zords are still there, more or less. Peter – Well this is certainly a major development. We have two of the most powerful zord combinations ever facing each other in silent solitude. The stillness is unnerving, as we all know that a massive offensive is about to be launched. But when? You can feel the tension here at the moment, and the air is heavy with anticipation. Zhane – (who has been rather quiet up to this moment) Uh, Peter? Peter – Yeah, what's the matter? Zhane – Well, if the DinoUltrazord is on this side, and the ZeoUltrazord is on that side, when they fire, won't we get caught right in the middle? Peter – . . . Ecliptor – . . . Dulcea – . . . From inside the DinoUltrazord – Lock on and fire! From inside the ZeoUltrazord – Lock onto target and fire! Peter – ACTIVATE ULTRAZORD-PROOF FORCE FIELD! NOW!! Angel Grove Desert – THWOOOM!!!!!! The screen is lost to static as a massive explosion rocks the Sports Box, forcing everyone to the ground. However, before too long, the picture slowly returns, only to show a huge billowing smoke and dust cloud. There is flaming wreckage flying around and not much else visible. Dulcea – (coughing) Is everyone all right? Zhane – (slowly climbing to his feet) Whoa, that was massive. Peter – (sliding back into his chair) Well you don't see that every day. Okay, as the dust cloud slowly dissipates, I can just make out one pile of fiery debris and one solid form through the haze. Zhane – You're right. But which zord survived? Peter – Wait … I think … yes, I can see two glowing eyes and a brachiosaur neck! Zhane – Yes, it's Titanus! He survived the final confrontation! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a clear winner. Peter – Uh-huh, and boy, Trey and the rest of the Zeo Rangers will be picking up bits of Pyramidas for months. Bet that's gonna cost the Gold Ranger. Zhane – Yep. And Titanus, the Dino Carrier Zord, is proven the champion of the Carrier Zords, standing alone and unchallenged as the one and only Ultrazord. Suddenly, Zhane's phone morpher rings. He opens it, listens for a few seconds then hangs up. Zhane - Hey listen, that was Andros. I've gotta go – Karone's been kidnapped and turned evil. Again. Peter – Again? Boy, you gotta put that girl on a leash. Oh well, Zhane, it's been great working with you. So wrapping this fight up, be sure to join me again next week as I broadcast live from the lost island of Muiranthius. This has been Peter, signing off from the Angel Grove Sports Box.
