It's been seven months and counting

The sunset came slowly, the sun was hiding far behind the mountains, and the sky was colored a soft pink, making its reflection in the lake, in those clear waters. A nice place to watch the sunset, but my eyes were clouded and I couldn't see it; I told myself that I had to be strong, but I just couldn't help myself, the tears began running down my face as I started to remember although I didn't want to. The green of the trees and the grass at my feet all around brought me so many memories, such as the soft-pink-colored sky … I would stop to think about her, but I couldn't; neither could I take her out of my heart. I think that even if I could have, I wouldn't have wanted to. The wind blew, moving my hair into my face, but I didn't care about it, everything was meaningless without her, everything.

I decided to walk out of here, maybe if I went somewhere else I could get my feelings up. Thinking about it, I went to the Youth Center. Bad idea; everybody seemed to have someone to talk to, and I didn't want to disturb anybody. I turned around to get out of the place.

Am I all alone in the universe?

But nothing seems to make sense anymore

I decided to abandon the place, but a voice stopped me

"Hey, Tommy."

"Yeah," I said, turning again to look at the one who spoke to me, it was Adam. He is together with Tanya.

"You know it already?"

"Know what?"

"That Kim is back," Tanya finished the news. I thought that it couldn't amaze me, but I suppose it did, because her smile faded.

"Are you okay?" Adam asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. When did she come back?"

"Yesterday; now she is living in an apartment some blocks away from here," Adam revealed.

"It's in the new apartment building, number 562," Tanya completed the sentence again.

"Here you are!" another familiar voice came up as I looked around to where it came from.

"Rocky... Aw man! I forgot that we had a meeting here today."

"Don't worry. They told you already?"

"Yeah, they did ... I'm sorry, but you'll have to forgive me ... I'm not feeling well," I said, starting to go to the door.

"It's okay. Anyway, we can practice another day," Rocky smiled.

"Sure, see you later, guys".

The sun was already hidden, the moon was lighting up a little as the stars glowed in the dark sky. I walked through the street; I was actually thinking about nothing but walking, the wind was cold.

And the time goes by so slowly
The nights are cold and lonely
I shouldn't be holding on
But I'm still holding on for you

I see an apartment building; I'm not sure about what I am doing here, but I'm walking up the stairs. I stop in front of the door, not sure about what to do … slowly I turn around to go away again, but there's something stronger than my determination that brings me back.

I'm calling out your name
because I can't move on

Then I hear some sounds, a "Hold on please!" as I see the door being opened slowly by her.

"Tommy??!!"

I only smile at her.

"Hi Kim ..."
