Disclaimer:Power Rangers Zeo are owned by the one, the only, the almighty, Mr. Saban (and I haven't even asked him if I can use them! How's that for disrespect!)

Time Scale: Continues straight after Part Six (I'm starting to think this section is a bit pointless in this story!)

Cube 6
By Matt

"No!" Tommy snapped. "I'm the leader here and I say they go!" He pushed the other two Trintans forward with the one he had already pushed.

"Tommy, are you sure?" Tanya asked.

"Completely!" he growled.

"Go on then!" Jenzar urged them

The Yellow, Black and Silver Trintans looked at each other, then back at their leader. Jenzar just looked back but made no move to indicate redemption. The three Rangers walked slowly across the room, the rest of them watching closely. Adam couldn't help wondering if they were doing the right thing. Trinta Blue had killed Kat, that was undisputable, but what had been their reasons? All he could think was that they were desperate to escape – desperate and scared! Two thirds of their team were dead and Zeo Green couldn't help wondering if he would have done exactly the same thing. They had only been in there a day and he was desperate to get out, he hated to think how he would be acting if he had been in there for a year.

His attention turned back to them as they reached the other side of the room. "Nothing!" Trinta Silver called back.

"Great, you guys go on!" Jenzar said. The remaining Zeo Rangers started walking, but were soon stopped.

"WAIT!" Trinta Black called out.

"What?" Tommy snapped, his temper already dangerously short.

"There are traps! If you walk across, they'll set off and you'll all be killed!" Black explained.

"What are you talking about?" Trinta White asked. "We just saw you walk across safely. Zeo Rangers, they are trying to trick us again."

"No! This ends here!" Trinta Black called back.

"Jenzar, what's he talking about?" Jason asked the White Alien.

"I don't know, he must be crazy!" Jenzar replied with a laugh.

"No. We couldn't find our way out of this place and one by one we were dying, so Enigma came to us once again and offered us another choice. He said that soon another team of Rangers would be entering the cube. If we could capture them and take their powers, or failing that, destroy them, he would release us!" Black explained. "That team is you. At first we tried to gain your trust, but when you went your own way, we had to trick you. We sent Jenzar to join you and made you think we were after him, then in that fight when we had you captured, we hoped you would surrender and make our lives easier. We knew there was a high chance you wouldn't surrender, so we checked out these rooms before coming after you. There's a trap in here that can only be avoided by walking across in certain places. We were going to have you killed here!"

The Zeo Rangers were speechless. They turned to Jenzar. "I… I don't know anything about that… I…" he stuttered. Then he just fell to his knees. "Red Ranger, do you know what it is like to fail your team, to watch them perish before your eyes. I had to do something, I had to do whatever Icould to get the rest of my team out safely!"

Tommy just stared down at him. The others thought he was going to hit him, or even kill him, but instead he turned back to the other three. "Why now? Why decide to tell us this now?"

"We were happy to do this to you because we were just so eager to get out, but after seeing what has happened, after seeing Jenzar let two of our allies be killed in that trap and then your Pink Ranger be killed, it was too much. We have already seen more than enough death and we did not want any more." Black explained.

"Just show us the way across!" Tommy ordered.

The Trintans explained the exact routes across to the Zeo Rangers and soon they were all across, now only Jenzar remained. He got half way across and stopped. He looked over at the others and said, "Go on without me, I wish to die here, as punishment for the wrongs I have done!"

"Jenzar, no!" Trinta Yellow called out.

They watched as Jenzar went to step into the trap. Tommy was nearest and he knew that with a quick jump, he had a small chance of saving the White Trintan, the question was, did he want to?

And that's it for this part! It's a very simple choice this week, but think carefully before you decide, there are serious consequences either way! So here are the choices (only two this week!)

a. Tommy should save Jenzar

b. Tommy should let him kill himself.

So there it is, thanks again for voting (and reading) and tune in next week to find out what happens.
