Disclaimer: The ideas for Power Rangers, and Power Ranger's Lost Galaxy are not mine and they belong to Saban. Anything not property of the above is property of the author.

Author's Note: I am in the process of writing this story as it comes. I have several pages of this story written out and will get it typed up and posted as soon as I can. I am currently working on several other fanfics and this particular story maybe delayed. I am sorry for leaving you hanging like this.

I would also ask you to email me if you would like to use any aspect of my story. The reason for this, especially with Zelda, is because the storyline is complex and has taken me since 1991 to create to where it is now. It is also under constant reconstruction so some items are subject to change. I will also have several standalones, which have nothing to do with the main sequence of events. I will tell you when that is so. I just want you to know that I am posting this against my better judgment because all my ideas are subject to change. I really wanted to wait and post it when the whole thing was typed, but I just want to get it out there and then post the final version on my site when complete. Any critique is welcome. I will also soon have out a guide to my characters. Thank you. I give to you now...

Return to Merinoi
By Zelda Martial

The old man looked Zelda in the eyes and said nothing. But Zelda knew the answer to her question just by looking into his eyes.

"No," she backed away towards the cave entrance. "You can't be him."

The old man made no move, as did the sprites. Instead, the old man began to say something.

"They say those who die never come back. They deny that the world they lived on means anything after they pass away. Let it be known that he did not die in vain." Zelda spoke those words just after the time in which Zordon had died saving the universe.

Twenty years after his sacrifice, he had come back to her. After several more minutes of silent communication, it was forgotten for the time being.

"Back in a universe that was plagued by evil that was protected by one person: you." He went on to tell the story of her supposed first life that seemed to her, never existed. And to help this man now would mean to abandon all that she left behind on Terra Venture. At least that's what she assumed she would have to do.

"What if I chose not to do it?" Zelda asked he companion.

"Then Scorpius has already won." He responded.

"In other words," She sighed, "Your not giving me much choice."

The old man nodded.

"Well, how do I start?"

"All you have to do is scale the gold mountains and find the gold crystal quasar saber." The old man pointed towards the entrance.

"Why do I get the feeling that's going to be a lot harder than your letting on." Zelda spoke as she walked out the cave entrance with a little padash. Oddly, she was excited. She honestly thought that this was going to be a dull trip.

Boy, was she ever wrong.

"Is everything ready?" Leo asked everyone on board the Astro Megaship.

"I hope so." Trei spoke in his mind. "Or this is going to be a very short trip." He then said out loud, "Ready to depart main hangar bay." He grabbed the acceleration controls and slowly maneuvered the Megaship out of the hangar bay while Kai, Leo, Maya, Damon, and Kendrix were holding on. As soon as the Megaship cleared Terra Venture, Trei said, "Prepare for maximum hyper rush speed."

"Ready for hyper rush eighteen." Kai spoke as Trei manipulated the thruster controls.

"Hyper rush drive online and ready." Damon spoke as he continued to check the systems on board.

"Activate hyper rush eighteen." Trei commanded.

"Active." Kendrix responded.

Outside the Megaship, Terra Venture melted back into the stars as the stars themselves melted into streaks of color and light. Trei waited five minutes before saying, "Deactivate hyper rush eighteen."

"Deactivated." Kendrix responded as she pushed the hyper rush controls. On the main view screen was Merinoi.

"Well," Leo said squeezing Maya's shoulder. "Looks like you got to come home after all."

Maya just looked at the view screen, looked at the planet of her birth, and did not reply.
