<h5><center> The Cave By Lamont Stewart & David Erbaugh</center></h5> About two and a half years have past since Lamont found the hat in kindergarten and Count Daniel was killed. Nothing else had really happened since then. However, Magic-El had been planning to get the hat back. Now she finally had a way. <center>~*~</center> David Erbaugh walked out of his house and went to catch the bus for school. However, in front of his house, there was a cave. Being the curious eight-year-old he was, he went inside to explore it. In the cave, David first saw a pond of solid ice. So he decided to walk on the ice. When he got to the middle of the ice, that is when it happened, and the Ice cracked into little pieces. David was standing on top of a block of ice. <center>~*~</center> Meanwhile, at Helke, seven year old Lamont was going to an assembly along with the rest of the school. Some lady was giving a lecture or something. She said, "Hello, my name is Miss Play." It was Magical-El-Play, however no one knew that for they had never seen her before. <center>~*~</center> Meanwhile, in the cave, David was floating down the river, and made it to a waterfall. He jumped to a nearby ladder to save himself. He started to climb up the ladder to see where it went. <center>~*~</center> Back at the school, a cave appeared in the middle of where in the assembly was. Lamont decided to go into the cave where he could hear his friend David screaming, "AAAH!! Somebody help me! Oh never mind." Before Lamont could enter the cave, however, he had to explain to the teacher that he thought a kid fell into the cave when it appeared. The teacher seemed to buy that excuse and left him alone. Magic-El then looked in his direction and recognized him. She said, "That's the kid I'm after. I'll kill him lickity split." Lamont entered the cave, and saw a manhole. He looked down and saw a ladder, with David climbing up it. What he didn't know was that Magic-El was behind him, with a potion that would put him near death instantly. However, David saw the reflection of Magic-El in the glass surface of the cave and said, "Lamont! Look out!" Lamont quickly turned around just in time to see her, and got out of the way. Lamont quickly climbed up the wall of the cave to a nearby ledge. Magic-El followed him, and was about to grab him. However he quickly turned around, and threw some powder that he found on her. She then turned into a bull. David at this time had climbed out of the tunnel, just in time for the bull to charge at him. David ran like he never ran before. The bull ran into a table, which threw a liquid in the air, hitting Lamont and turning him into a baby chicken. Lamont dropped the powder and it spilled on David, which turned him into a bullfighter. Now David gave the bull a run for his money. Magic-El, not wanting to be undone, rammed into some potions and turned into a dragon. She immediately went after David again. However, David threw the powder back at Lamont, and turned him into a dragon slayer. Lamont leaped from the ledge, and started to battle the dragon. <center>~*~</center> Meanwhile, under the school, a figure watched as all of this took place. Lamont and Magic-El the Dragon battled for a few minutes, until Magic-El said, "Enough is enough! Normal, now!" Everyone turned back into normal. Magic-El stood above towering over Lamont and David. Magic-El made an axe appear out of thin air. Then she said, "I guess the old fashion way of killing will have to do." She raised the axe in the air, and was about to swing, when Lamont's backpack started to glow. He opened it up, and pulled out his hat, which was glowing. He then placed it on his head, and he started glowing. A beam of light shot out of the L on the hat and struck Magic-El. She screamed and said, "You haven't seen the last of me!" Then she vanished. Lamont and David looked on and said, "Oh boy. Being your friend is dangerous!" Lamont said, "Yeah, I guess it is."
