Just a Bank Robbery
By Lamont Stewart and Crusader Vega

Lamont, Eric, and Jenny step into their secret hideout underground. They find a cyborg Danny seated at the table in the middle of the room, and Joseph in his time warp container. The three take seats around the table and begin to talk with their two friends.

Lamont: Morning, guys. What's up?

Cyborg Danny: Mainly the same, boring stuff like every day.

Joseph: There was however an interesting report on Channel 1 earlier today.

Eric: Really? Tell us, please.

Cyborg Danny: There was a robbery at one of the banks here in town.

Jenny: Has the robber been caught? Has the money been recovered?

Joseph: No, but they have recognized the robber as a man named Sam Nako.

Lamont leans back in his chair, stroking his chin in thought.

Eric: Something wrong, Lamont?

Lamont: The robber is a Sam Nako, you say?

Joseph: Yes.

Lamont: Why does that name sound familiar?

Jenny: Here's another question, why does this concern us?

Eric: She's got a point. The L-team doesn't go after civilian criminals. We only go after super-villains.

Lamont: Guys, I have a feeling we need to check this one out. Eric, go find the others and tell them the news.

Eric: Sure.

Eric gets up and leaves the room. Lamont and Jenny remain in silence for a while. Eventually, Jenny gets bored and falls asleep, resting her head on the table. Danny begins to get a little irritated at Lamont's continued silence.

Cyborg Danny: Lamont, are you going to sit there forever without saying a word?

Lamont: Sorry, Danny. I was just trying to place where I heard the name "Sam Nako." It sounds very familiar.

Joseph: Maybe he has some connection with Charlie Nako.

Lamont: Who knows? Here are the choices, he either is, or he's not.

Cyborg Danny: Well that would normally be the choices!

Lamont: I know I've heard that name somewhere before!

Cyborg Danny: How long do you want to wait before you find out?

Lamont: What do you mean?

Cyborg Danny: When I heard about the robbery, I planted a few bugs in a few select security systems across Vandalia. These enable me to gather information from almost anywhere. Right now, I sense an energy pattern matching the one detected in the robbery-situated stationary in a warehouse at the corner of Lumbard and Shea.

Lamont: Nearest L-team members?

Joseph: Chris Leis and Jacob McLaughlin are within respectable distance.

Lamont: Contact them at once. I'm on my way.

Lamont turns to leave, but is stopped by a question from Danny.

Cyborg Danny: What about Jenny? Shouldn't you take her with you?

Lamont walks over to where Jenny is sleeping. He grabs her shoulders and shakes her softly. The girl is only slightly roused by this action, but not quite jarred from sleep. She moves her head a little and mutters a strange remark.

Jenny: Not yet, it's early. Just five more minutes, mom.

Lamont: I'll let her sleep for now. Send her to meet us as soon as she is able.

Joseph: We will. I'm contacting Chris and Jacob now.

Lamont turns for the door, and then remembered that disk he found in second grade, and thought about something, but quickly dismissed it. He then runs quickly out of the room as Joseph's containing tube glows a bright blue.

————————————————–

Jacob and Chris are walking aimlessly down the street, chatting about old and familiar times when a blue glow appears in the plate glass window of a vacant department store. The two have obviously never seen anything this strange before, but are not startled when they see the familiar face of Joseph, their old friend in the middle of the hazy glow.

Chris: Hi, Joseph, what's up?

Joseph: We received some news this morning that one of the banks in town was robbed. The perpetrator is located in a warehouse not far from here.

Jacob: Lamont wants us to check it out, no doubt, but why should we worry about it? Criminal activity is the police's job.

Joseph: That was what Lamont said. However, when we mentioned that the robber's name was Sam Nako he immediately wanted someone to see what was going on.

Chris: The name does sound familiar.

Joseph: Well, don't all day thinking about it like Lamont did. He'll be joining soon. Better get the lead out!

Jacob: No problem.

Joseph's floating head vanishes from the window and all is as it was just a few minutes before. Chris and Jacob each exchange a smiling look of readiness, and then after seeing if the area is clear, together they lift their rings to the sky.

Both: It's L-team time!

A lightning bolt of energy traces an "L" above each of their chests. Instantly, they call the name of their powers.

Jacob: Trapper Star Power!

Chris: Tracker Star Power!

A light surrounds their bodies and gives them their L-team powers. Jacob is given the garb of a trapper of mountain creatures. Chris receives a master tracker's outfit. Now fully powered, they make their way to the warehouse, which is enormous, as most warehouses are. They look through a window and see the figure of Sam Nako sitting at a small table. The table is buckling under the load of coins, bills, and three bulging bags of the loot.

Chris: Will you look at that cash?

Jacob: A handful of that could make us both rich!

Chris: Just one problem…. it's stolen. We would be rich, but it would not be honest. As a Jedi, I must try to stay away from the dark side. Stealing is one of its agents.

Jacob: Well, I wouldn't want to take someone else's money. Let's just give it back to the bank.

Jacob and Chris walk around the side of the warehouse until the reach a large aluminum slide-door. Chris nods to Jacob slowly, then, as if planned earlier; the two each deliver a swift kick to the door, causing it to give way and break. Sam Nako jumps up from the table, flinging the stolen money everywhere. He looks startled at the two warriors in front of him.

Sam: L-team?

Chris: You know us?

Sam: Er….well… I uh…. heard of you. That's it. Yeah!

Jacob: Good. Because we need you to return all this money to the bank.

Sam: Why?

Chris: Well, duh! It doesn't belong to you. We want you to return it, and we'll tell the police you will not give this town anymore trouble.

Sam: Oh, sure, I'd love to do that. I'm lying! I'm keeping this money for myself, and there's nothing you can do about it!

Jacob turns to see Chris' reaction. Chris just pulls out his lightsaber and waves it challengingly at Sam Nako.

Chris: Well, just see about that. Are you going to come quietly, or do we have to knock you out?

This elicits a great deal of laughter from the robber.

Sam: I'm sorry, but I find all of this to be very amusing. I don't think I'll return the money to the bank after all. You see, I find Vandalia to be sorta dull.

Jacob: That's not our problem!

Sam: Oh, but it is. Or rather it will be, after I've gone!

Jacob: What are trying to say?

Sam throws his head back and just laughs furiously. Soon, a blue haze wraps itself around the perpetrator's form. Chris and Jacob run to stop whatever is happening, but find nothing when they run through the swirling gas cloud.

Chris: Looks like Lamont's suspicion about this guy was correct.

As soon as he finishes this statement about their leader, Lamont enters the warehouse and calls for them.

Lamont: Jacob, Chris, where are you guys?

Jacob: We're over here. Follow our voices.

Lamont: What happened in here?

Chris: I'm not exactly sure. Sam Nako just disappeared in this thick blue haze.

Jacob: We tried to stop him, but he was gone in a flash.

Lamont: Strange. This guy is definitely not just human. Let's get back to HQ. The other members should be there by now. We'll discuss what to do there.

~*~

Sure enough, all of the L-team are assembled in the underground headquarters, all except for Liz, Eric, and Roger. Jenny has now been aroused from sleep. She sits up, foggy-eyed, wanting desperately to return to her snooze. Lamont is announcing his plan for apprehending Sam Nako from a standing position at the head of the table. Cyborg Danny stands in a corner next to the tube, which contains Joseph's floating head.

Lamont: All right. Nako apparently has a type of teleporting power. He's taken approximately 90% of the loot with him, but a good bit of it was thrown when he overturned that table when Jacob and Chris entered the warehouse. Chris have you been able to determine his current position?

Chris: Yes. I used my Jedi powers to find out that he is now somewhere in the Los Angeles area.

Zach: That's good, but we're in Ohio. How are we supposed to get to LA?

Jamie Moore: Don't forget, Zach, we have a starship that is equipped with a transporter device.

Zach: That's why you're my girlfriend.

Mandy: And it's a good thing we've got people up there monitoring things. Otherwise, it'd plummet to its doom on the Earth's atmosphere.

Lamont: Correct, Mandy. It's evening time there, so we better make this quick. Joseph, tell Liz, Eric, and Robert what's going on. Tell them we'll be outside.

Jamie Pounds: Why do we have to go outside?

Brad: Because the transport signal can't penetrate rocky surfaces.

Lamont: Right. Now, everyone, follow me.

All of the team rises from their chairs and follow Lamont through the door to the cave. Jenny staggers behind and falls down wearily on the ground.

Lamont: Jenny, you can stay behind if you like. You look like you're weak.

Jenny: Thank you.

Jenny retires back to her chair and is shut off from the visual world within twenty seconds. The rest of the team waits outside the cave when a blue light surrounds their individual bodies and dematerializes them. They all re-materialize in an alley somewhere downtown Los Angeles.

Brad: Is this it?

Chris: Yes. This is LA.

Jamie Pounds: Are you sensing the perpetrator?

Chris: Yes. I am picking up the same energy reading I noticed in the warehouse. It's coming from over there!

Chris points in the direction of a large studio directly in front of them.

Zach: The Price is Right's studio?

Chris: That's where I'm getting it.

Lamont: Then that's where we're going. Split up into three different groups. I'll take Chris and Jamie Moore with me and go inside the studio. Brad, you take Jamie Pounds and Mandy and observe the back doors of the place. The rest of you are to wait right here and be ready to give the signal to the starship to transport us back to Vandalia.

All: Got it.

Brad takes Lamont over to the side.

Brad: Why do want me to take Mandy, and Jamie Pounds, I thought you liked them.

Lamont: I do like them, that's why I'm not taking them. I won't be able to concentrate.

Within a few minutes, Lamont, Chris, and Jamie Moore are walking around somewhere inside the studio. People with their names written on nametags are all over the place. The three L-team members each have nametags also.

Lamont: Chris, you never cease to amaze me.

Chris: Thanks.

Jamie Moore: That was quite a job you did on that ticket lady.

Chris: Jedi mind trick at its best.

Lamont: Now, we need to find out where Sam Nako's run off. Chris?

Chris: I could help, but Lamont, you're a Jedi master too. Why don't you try this one?

Lamont: I think I just might.

Lamont strangely feels that he needs no coaching from Chris on this matter. From somewhere deep inside of him, there is a raging instinctive fire. He shuts his eyes and drowns from around him every other sound, save his own heart beating. He is now focusing all of his energy, every fiber in his being, to summon that burning instinct. The sensation is overwhelming. The instinct within is not a fire, but a raging blaze, which takes complete control of his senses. His eyes are shut, but the blaze enables him to see. He chooses not to hear any sounds, but in the distance he hears the beating of another heart, one that is oddly more than human. The instinct of the Jedi warrior focuses his full attention on a man walking into a large room illuminated by dazzling lights all around the place. Quickly, Lamont snaps out of this trance-like phaze.

Lamont: He's going in the audience.

Jamie Moore: So, what are we going to do?

Chris: I think I know.

Jamie Moore: You mean we're going to chase this robber on national television?

Lamont: Yeah, but we'll have to keep a low profile.

Chris: Relax, Jamie. It's not like we're going to something big, like a Poet Voices concert.

Jamie Moore: Okay.

The three join a crowd of people, which are entering the studio audience of the game show the Price is Right. The room is crawling with people in every seat. Lamont, Jamie, and Chris are lucky to get their seats so quickly and near the back. From their seating positions, they can see almost everyone in the audience, as well as the central stage of the show.

Jamie Moore: Where's our man Sam?

Chris: He's in the third row. Right there.

Chris points to a man in the third row as the contestants are being called from the audience. To the surprise of the three in the back, Sam Nako is called to be the third contestant.

Lamont: Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?

Chris: Rigged?

Jamie Moore: He must have sensed us coming and is trying to evade capture.

Lamont: My sentiments exactly.

Chris: Let's just see how he far he goes and we can deal with him when he tries to leave.

For the next twenty minutes, a sense of evil hangs over the three L-team members, causing them to constantly shudder as if cold. Sam Nako guesses the exact value of a Samsung Kariaoke machine and wins his way on the stage along with the $500 dollar bonus. He wins a Porsche in the Dice Game and goes on to the showcase showdown. All the while, Lamont, Chris, and Jamie are consorting among themselves.

Chris: He's got to be cheating somehow.

Jamie Moore: He'll win, too, if he keeps this up.

Lamont: We'll have to wait until then. They're calling out the new contestants, now.

Indeed, Bob Barker begins conversing with Rod Roddy.

Bob: Wow! What a show this has been so far. Rod, I want to have another contestant like that Sam fellow was.

Rod: Well Bob, I don't know if this next one is like Sam or not, but I have a surprise for Lamont Stewart. Come on down! You're the next contestant on the Price if Right!

Lamont starts hyperventilating. He looks at the two in shock, wanting to know what to do next.

Chris: Well, the show must go on. Get down there!

Lamont runs down the aisle like any contestant would. Obviously, he is overcome with the fact that he is now on national television. Chris turns to Jamie Moore, who is at his side, and adds a half-defeated remark.

Chris: So much for keeping a low profile.

Jamie Moore: It'll be okay. As long as Lamont doesn't draw attention to himself, Sam, or us we should be fine.

Meanwhile, Lamont has taken his place with the other contestants as Bob and Rod begins to announce what the next prize is.

Bob: Lamont, you look rather young. How old are you, anyway?

Lamont: Old enough. I'm just short for my age.

Bob: You've got big shoes to fill, guy. Rod, what's the next item up for bids?

Rod: Our next novelty is a fabulous piece of furniture from the Michael Jacobs collection. This rocker-recliner is upholstered in a western motif. The perfect addition to your living room set.

Bob: Now, contestants place your bids on that recliner.

Won by one, the contestants give amounts, such as 500 dollars, or 325 dollars. When it is Lamont's turn, he hesitates for a moment, his eyes nearly shut and fixated on the piece of furniture.

Bob: Lamont, we need a bid, please.

Out of nowhere, a number pops in his mind. It doesn't come as much of a surprise, however, for he has been using his Jedi powers to determine the exact amount of the chair.

Lamont: 276 dollars, Bob.

A klaxon alarm sounds from somewhere in the background.

Bob: That sound means that one of our contestants has bid right on the nose. Exact retail value of the rocker-recliner is 276 dollars winner Lamont Stewart.

Lamont climbs onto the stage and Bob hands him the $500 bonus.

Bob: If this keeps up we're going to go broke. (He Jokes)

Lamont follows Bob to a plasticore device set up, bearing the words "Range Game." Lamont has seen this times on TV. He does not need to be told how to do this, but humors Bob by letting him explain it to him.

Bob: This is what we call the Range Game. We're going to give you an item in just a bit and you have to guess the value of it. This range meter will rise along this bar. The numbers you see here are numerical amounts of money. Lamont, your job is to stop that range meter when the price of the object is between the green section. Understand?

Lamont: Sure do.

Bob: But we can't let you play without something to guess for. Rod, what's he going to be playing for?

The door panel slides open as Rod makes his announcement.

Rod: Lamont will be playing for this huge Jacuzzi courtesy of Kensington Gardens. With six adjustable jets, relaxing in this tub is not hard to come by.

Bob: All right, Lamont. You know how to play. We'll start the machine for you now.

Lamont looks once at the audience, as if confused, but turns his gaze to the enormous bathtub. He focuses intently on it, as he did for the furniture. He calls on his Jedi powers again to determine the exact amount. All this happens very quickly. With one quick jab, Lamont punches a balled fist into the red button, stopping the progress of the range machine. Bob Barker laughs as this happens.

Bob: They get so tense on this show, they get a little violent!

This elicits a laugh from Lamont. He didn't mean to hit it so hard, he only meant to stop the machine quickly, and he did.

Bob: Lamont if the price of that tub is within the green section you will win that large Jacuzzi. Show me the price of that tub.

In response the price of the item is found to be right in the center of the green part of the range arrow. The arrow said $2,384 and Lamont is shown the direction to the wheel as Bob turns to face the camera.

Bob: Two fabulous contestants. We'll be right back with the Big Wheel and our Showcase Showdown right after this.

Of course, Bob doesn't really go anywhere. He just walks over to the part of the set where the big wheel is set up. Sam Nako, Lamont, and a lady are standing there waiting to spin. The lady goes first and spins a combination of two spins, which add up to 90 cents. Sam steps up and rolls $1.00, quickly taking her place. Lamont nervously takes the grips of the wheel and gives a fierce shove downward. The wheel spins wildly for a few seconds, until it starts to slow down. Lamont is terrified at first when the wheel passes the $1 mark and begins to stop on 10 cents. In a flash a voice is heard inside his head. It is Chris, speaking to him through Jedi telepathy from across the room.

Chris: Lamont, you have to beat this guy. Use your mind tricks as you have before.

Now more confidant, Lamont closes his eyes and slightly raises his left hand. He is careful to do it in a certain way so that no one can see him. Bob and everyone else are looking only at the wheel. To them it appears that Lamont is only choosing not to look until the wheel comes to a complete stop. The wheel slows down even more near the 85-cent mark, but suddenly it moves back around. The wheel travels until the pointer stops exactly at the 1-dollar position. Lamont opens his eyes and takes on a faked look of surprise when Sam is tied.

Bob: You've won $1,000, Lamont along with Sam. So now we have a spin off and a bonus spin.

Sam spins first and once again, he gets the $1.00, the bells go off as he wins $10,000 dollars more, now Lamont must tie. He sends the wheel spinning again and imitates his behavior before to the letter. He causes the wheel to slow down when the wheel nears the green section and stops the wheel right on the 1-dollar mark.

Bob: An additional $10,000 is yours, Lamont. Now we'll have another spin off again, but no more money.

Lamont then sends a message to Chris.

Lamont: (Silently) Chris, block all powers, this is going to be a fair fight here, I want to beet this creep right.

Chris uses his greater Jedi powers and blocks the abilitys of Lamont and Sam. The wheel moves and it looks like Sam is going to get $1.00 gain, but the wheel slows down and stops at the 5 cents marker. Just barely hanging on before it goes to the 1.00. Then Lamont spins and wins 10 cents.

Bob: Lamont won the Spin-off. You're a lock for the Showcase. We'll be right back after these messages from our sponsors.

Again, Bob and Lamont just walk over to another part of the set. Here, another contestant, named Terry, is waiting for them. Lamont takes the lectern next to her and awaits instructions. Meanwhile, Sam Nako is seated somewhere backstage, seething furiously while watching Lamont and his opponent.

Bob: Terry, we have this showcase for you. Rod?

Rod: We've gathered a collection of Hollywood movies for your personal enjoyment.

The showcase doors slide open to reveal one of the stagehands showing off a vast assortment of both old and recent films, which are laid on two tables in front of her.

Rod: These are films the whole family can enjoy. There are old movies such as Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, The Long, Long Trailer, and Gone with the Wind as well a variety of recent films like Jurassic Park, Independence Day, Apollo 13, Congo, and Men In Black. And what better to watch these films on than a brand new entertainment center.

With this said, another stagehand enters wheeling out a shelf-on-wheels that holds a television set and a VCR on top of it.

Rod: This TV and VCR set is the newest model by Sony. And you can place all of this stuff on your new RV.

The Doors open up and there is a RV.

Rod: All this can be yours if the price is right.

Bob: Now, Terry, you've seen your showcase. You can choose either to bid, or you can pass it to Lamont, and we'll show you the other showcase. What do you want to do?

Terry: I'll bid on it.

Bob: Okay. And your bid, please?

Terry: 50,000 dollars, Bob.

Bob: Thank you, Terry. Lamont, wait till you see what we have in store for you!

Rod: Set your sails, Lamont, because we're giving you this brand new sailboat!

The showcase double doors slide open and reveals three of the female stagehands sporting a sailboat. Two more stagehands stand near the boat awaiting Rod's instructions.

Rod: Travel to exotic climates with this sporty cruise. Let the wind be your guide, but we're not just giving you the boat, Lamont. How about taking it on a sailing venture, to Hawaii?

The stagehands now enter each carrying one of the corners of a cardboard poster of palm trees, bearing the word HAWAII.

Rod: The chance of a lifetime can be yours if the price if right.

Bob: Lamont, this is a tough estimate, I know, but give it your best shot.

The audience starts jeering various amounts, but Lamont ignores them all. He is now applying one of his tricks of the trade to the task before him. He stares through nearly shut eyes', unblinking, until the exact amount comes into his mind. Lamont does not decide to go with the exact value, but only a little bit less.

Lamont: $24,768, Bob.

Bob: Thank you, both. Now, let's see how you did. Terry, your estimate is $50,000. Exact retail price of your showcase is $50,677, a difference of 677 dollars. Now, Lamont, if you come within 250 dollars of your showcase's value, you win both showcases. The exact value of your showcase is…. $24,813, a difference of only 45 dollars. Wow! Lamont Stewart, you are a double showcase winner! You've won the Recliner, the Jacuzzi, the movies, the entertainment center, the RV, the sailboat, and the trip to Hawaii, not to mention $11,500 in cash. A prize package worth $89,650.

Lamont becomes completely elated at hearing that. He runs over to his sailboat and gazes on the sheer size of it.

Bob: What a day! What a day! This is Bob Barker reminding you, to help control pet population, have your pet spayed or neutered.

This ends the televised portion of the show, but there is still much more to tell. Lamont climbs into the metal-hulled sailboat and inspects the large sail behind him. Before he can say anything, a strange sensation passes over him. It is not a sensation of something nearby, but rather a feeling that something that was very near is no longer present. He makes his way backstage, where he finds Chris and Jamie Moore waiting for him.

Jamie: Great job, Lamont!

Chris: Congratulations and all that but did you feel it?

Lamont: Yes, I did. What is that?

Chris: It means that Sam Nako has now left the building. I saw him just a minute ago running for the back door. What scared me was when he turned around and stared directly at me. It was like he knew who I was, and was challenging me to follow him.

Lamont: If he's trying to leave through the back, he'll run right into Brad and the others.

Jamie: We better follow him, and see what he's really all about.

Chris: I'm with Jamie. Let's go.

The three start running through the backstage area, dodging props, avoiding moving equipment, until they reach the back door. Lamont bursts through the door, followed by the other two. They see Sam Nako, holding two bags of money in hands, standing in front of both them and the other team of L-team members that were posted here.

Lamont: Don't move, Nako.

Brad: Surrender peacefully, and we'll make this as easy as possible.

Sam Nako: You don't honestly expect me to believe that you are going to stop me? L-team, you disappoint me.

Mandy: How do you know who we are?!

Sam Nako: Well that's easy. Let me show you!

A red energy explodes from inside Sam's body. As soon as this happens, the organic flesh of a his human form cracks and flies off like clay. The horrifying figure that is revealed is repulsive to the human eye. The vaguely humanoid figure has the claws of a Velociraptor, four arms, two human, the other two are like an insect. On is back are two wings, bird-like in shape and color. His head is adorned with ram's horns, and in his mouth are the teeth of a saber-toothed tiger.

Jamie Pounds: Man, you're one ugly dude!

Chaos: Thank you. I am Chaos! I will destroy you all!

Lamont: I don't think so. It's L-team time!

All of them present raise their rings to the sky and call the name of their powers.

Brad: White Wizard Star Power!

Chris: Tracker Star Power!

Mandy: Red Wizard Star Power!

Jamie Pounds: Medical Doctor Star Power!

Jamie Moore: Telepathy Star Power!

Lamont: Ninja-Knight Star Power!

Each of them receives their respective L-team powers, except for Lamont, who becomes a combined knight and ninja. Chaos does not look frightened by this. He just remains facing them. He begins to attack them. His attacks come quickly and powerful. Mandy is the first to get attacked. He strikes her across the chin with one of his four fists. Mandy falls back toward a brick wall. She is not badly hurt, just temporarily shaken. Chris jumps in front of the monster and intercepts him from his attack. Chaos just takes it as an invitation. He makes a slashing leap, which brings his raptor claws into attack position. Chris sees the fatal blow coming and dashes to the side. The attack misses Chris completely. Chris answers with a hurricane kick. Chaos is flung toward the Jamies. Jamie Moore and Jamie Pounds both grab one of the monster's ugly feet and together hurl him into a brick wall. Chaos stands, now bruised, but totally enraged.

Chaos: That wasn't nice!

Chaos creates four flaming swords in each of his hands and wields them challengingly at the team.

Lamont/Knight-Ninja: Let me handle this part, guys.

Chris/Tracker: Be careful, Lamont.

Lamont pulls out his lightsaber and prepares to battle Chaos. For hours, it seems, Lamont's lightsaber has to contend with four swords, which are masterfully handled by the monster. Eventually, Chaos' swords are broken and Chaos is driven back into a wall. Chaos seems to be worn out and exhausted. Lamont takes a step back and raises his lightsaber, preparing to attack. With one swift motion, Lamont leaps toward Chaos and makes a slicing gesture with the lightsaber. Instantly, the lightsaber is charged, trailing an energy signal in a slicing pattern. Chaos receives the attack and stands up, as if in defeat, but surprisingly, that doesn't happen.

Chaos: I won't allow you to destroy me that easily!

A blue haze quickly surrounds the hideous form. When it lifts, Chaos is gone.

Brad/White Wizard: Okay, he's gone!

Jamie Pounds/Medical Doctor: I guess he's not ready to admit defeat yet.

Jamie Moore/Telepath: Then, we're sure to see him again.

Lamont/Knight-Ninja: I'm willing to bet everything I have on it.

Chris/Tracker: And after today, that's a lot of stuff!

Mandy/Red Wizard: What is?

Chris/Tracker: Lamont here is a double showcase winner and an 11,000-aire!

The rest of the team gasps in amazement.

Jamie Moore/Telepath: What are you going to do with all that stuff, anyway?

Lamont/Knight-Ninja: I'm not sure, but you can bet the L-team can benefit from it!

Mandy/Red Wizard: We sure can!

Lamont/Knight-Ninja: Now, let's do what we need to do and get back to Vandalia. I want to get some rest.

THE END
