Darkviot's Dark Dealings

Lamont, Danny, Tina, Zach, and Richey were meeting on the playground a day after Mickey Blunt attacked them. Lamont had just gotten his memory back a while ago.

Lamont said, "That Mickey Mouse type character, looked familiar."

Zach said, "Like Mickey Mouse?"

Lamont said, "Ha, Ha, very funny. No, I'm serious, I can't place him exactly, but..." Then he remembered where he saw him. "He gave me the device that trapped Daniel. I wonder what happened to him?"

Meanwhile, in Mickey Blunt's lab, he was talking to Darkviot.

Mickey Blunt said, "So how do we get that crystal away from, Lamont?"

Darkviot said, "We either need to get that Crystal from him or kill him, both would be nice, but only one needs to be done."

Mickey Blunt said, "But, who is going to do it?"

Darkviot said, "When you launched that rocket, I programmed it to got to certain locations and to change certain individuals." He blew a whisle and a human like duck with a crown on his head. "Ah, the King of the Kid Eating Ducks."

He said, "Yes, how may I serve you, Darkviot?"

Darkviot said, "Take your army of Kid Eating Ducks or KED for short, and get a pink crystal away from a kid anyway you can. So King KED can you do it?"

King KED said, "At once."

Back at Helke, school had just gotten out, and Lamont and David were ridding the bus home.

David said, "I think when that crystal glowed, our memories came back to us."

Lamont said, "Ya, but why would anyone repress them?"

David said, "Maybe someone did, or maybe we did. They were kind of gruesome."

Lamont said, "This crystal defeated that witch, and now I've had two attempts to steal it. I believe this is a powerful object, and it can't fall into the wrong hands."

David said, "Ya, but who's hands are they?"

The next day at school, Lamont was with Danny when he saw something in the shadows of the Lost Woods. "I wonder what it is this time?" He walked over to see what it was and about six humans with duck heads were walking towards them.

Danny said, "Oh great more freaks."

One of the 3^rd graders thought it was a clown of some sort so she went to get a closer look and one of them bit her finger. She jerked away, before they could bite her whole finger off, but it was bleeding.

"What are these things?" asked Lamont.

Just then one of them with a crown on his head appeared and said, "They are my Army of Kid Eating Ducks, and I'm their leader King KED. My master Darkviot wants that crystal or your life, it doesn't matter to him, or me either."

Danny said, "There is that name again."

Lamont said, "Yah, I wonder who it is?"

King KED said, "You will never know."

The seven KEDs attacked them and Lamont and Danny held them off as long as they could, making sure that they avoided the mouths of the KEDs.

Lamont grabbed the Pink Crystal and held it up. "If this worked against that witch it should work against you too." He held it in the air, and a great pink light came from the crystal. The light hit, King KED and he turned back into a regular Duck.

The other KEDs saw that and disappeared in a puff of brown smoke.

Just then a figure appeared and picked up the duck. It was the same creature that had attacked Lamont and David earlier in the week. Lamont said, "Who are you? Do you work for Darkviot too?"

Darkviot said, "Fools I am Darkviot."

Danny said, "What do you want here?"

Darkviot said, "I'm here to make sure things don't happen."

Lamont said, "What do you mean?"

Darkviot said, "In the future about eight to ten years, you will defeat an enemy called Darkonda, and latter you will defeat Deviot. We came back from the future and Merged together to kill ya before you grew up."

Lamont said, "To bad you're going to fail."

Darkviot said, "What do you mean?"

Lamont held the crystal to Darkviot's chest. Darkviot separated into Darkonda and Deviot. Darkonda looked like a red monster, while Deviot looked like a robot. They joined hands and merged back into Darkviot. Then he and the duck vanished in a puff of brown smoke.

Lamont said, "At least now we know who is behind this. Sort of."

Darkviot fired a laser at the duck and he turned back into King KED. Then he pushed a button, and summoned another figure. This was a guy who was dressed in a suit and had some strings attached to his fingers. He said, "I am the Puppet Master, and I'm here to serve you."

Darkviot said, "It's nice to be in charge and not have to answer to Dark Specter, Astronema, Ecliptor, Scorpio, Trakena, and Statue." Then he got serious and said, "You will incompasinate several kids. Lamont Stewart is your main target. He is very cleaver, make sure he can't use the crystal on you. There is also Danny Commer, not very smart, but don't turn your back on him. Tina Wilson, she's very beautiful so make sure you don't get distracted. Zach Atkinson is big so watch out there. Richey Washburn is small but quick. Finally there is David Erbaugh, he's not part of that group, but is dangerous too."

Puppet Master said, "I will not fail."

Darkviot said, "Make sure that you don't."

Back at the school, Lamont, Danny, Tina, Zach, and Richey were meeting at lunch.

Lamont said, "I've asked you all here to meet me for a reason."
