About a little more then one year has past since Lamont defeated, and trapped Magical-El-Play. Lamont and his friends were now in the 4th grade. They were seniors in Helke Elementary School. Lamont had formed some new friends since his last adventure. He still had the friends from his last adventure, but he had made four new ones too. There was Danny Comer, Zach Atkinson, Tina Wilson, and Richey Washburn.

Meanwhile, about ten some years in the future out of the rubble of ashes a familiar voice rang across the galaxy. Revenge shall soon be mine. A hand popped out of the rubble and Deviot climbed out. He knew the first thing he must do. He opened a gateway to the land of the Desist and saw of the dead monsters the rangers had destroyed in the past. Then he saw who he was looking for, Darkonda.

He slyly floated over to him and said, "We were both defeated by the Rangers. The Lightstar Rangers defeated you with help from the Green Ranger, Lamont. The Galaxy Rangers, along with a bunch of little creatures and the Digital Rangers defeated me, with their leader, the Gold Digital Ranger, Lamont. He was instrumental in getting us both, but if we work together we can go back in time and stop him from ever getting that far."

Darkonda said, "And how do you think we can do that?"

Deviot said, "By Merging Together!"

Darkonda said, "Excellent, let's do it."

They touched and started to glow, and smoke filled the area. After it died down a single figure stood in their place. It said, "I am Darkviot, and Vengeance is mine."

Back in 1989, Lamont and his friends were continuing things as nothing had happened, because as far as they knew nothing had. As you remember after Lamont's battle with Magical, the dead kids were restored and the city's memories of the events were erased.

Lamont was at the play ground with David. Jacob walked by and said, "I hate you."

David said, "So how long is this going to go on?"

"Beats me," Lamont said.

"How did this happen?" asked David.

Lamont said, "Before school started this summer, we were playing with my computer and it was messing up so he kicked and broke it. So I kicked him out of the house."

Meanwhile in the Shadows of the lost woods, Darkviot was edging closer to the playground. Then he jumped out of the shadow and said, "Now you will pay."

Lamont said, "What are you talking about?"

Darkviot said, "You will never get the chance to defeat me." He fired an energy beam at Lamont and David, but the two kids dodged the blast and ran to Helke Park. He said, "Ah, I love the chase."

They got to the playground area, and Darkviot fired a beam right at Lamont. He somersaulted in the air to dodge the blast and landed in the sandbox. He looked back and saw the hole in the wood where he was just standing. Then he said, "Wait a minute, there is something familiar about all of this."

Darkviot brought his hand down to karate chop Lamont, but he spin kicked at blocked the arm. Then while he had the opening, he punched Darkviot right in the ribs. That distracted him allowing David to get a kick in.

Darkviot fell to the ground, and said, "I am not through yet." All of a sudden, he started to grow, and soon he was as big a redwood. "Now you have no chance to stop me." Then he prepared to stomp the two kids.

Just then a laser hit Darkviot. He looked up and saw the Bullet Train Mega Battlezord. A Red Ranger jumped out of it. He said, "I am the Red Animal Ranger of the Time Crusaders." He looked at the school and said, "I remember this place. Hey ya two." When he saw Lamont and David.

He said, "Sword activate now." The sword on the sword swung and hit Darkviot.

KA-BOOM! Then he looked around and found what he came for, The Red Merger Crystal. He picked it up and it started to glow. At the same time the Pink Merger Crystal that Lamont had glowed too. The sky filled with a pink glow, and when it was gone so was the Red Ranger. However, Lamont and David had gotten their memories back. "I remember now." Lamont said.

"So do I," David said.

Just then Darkviot jumped up from the rubble, and grabbed the Pink Crystal in his hands. Then he released it, and poured some kind of energy in a vile. "Thanks for the energy." Then he vanished.

Lamont said, "I wonder what that was about."

David said, "I don't know, but Recess is almost over." They hurried back to the school so they wouldn't be late.

Meanwhile, a scientist named Charlie Blunt was making a chemical. He said, "I just need one more ingredient."

Darkviot came out of the shadows and said, "I have jus the thing." He held up a vile with some kind of liquid.
