Out of Control

As the Astro Megaship approached Earth after leaving KO-35 two days previous, the Rangers prepared to talk to the people of Earth. Little did they know one final battle would take place….
Sydney, Austrailia 9:15 A.M.
A construction worker using a bulldozer started digging into some loose dirt. He suddenly noticed something strange half burried in the dirt. He turned off the engine and yelled, "Hey, we got something strange here." After they finished uncovering it, a second construction worker looked down at it.
"I've never seen anything like this," he said as he looked down at a large metal circle twice the size of a manhole cover with a strange picture inscribed on it.
"Me neither," said the first worker. He cupped his hands over his mouth and yelled up to a crane operator, "Bring it over here." A few minutes later the crane was attached to the cover. The craine quickly pulled it off. Then, a claw holding a large purple egg slowly came up from under the ground.
"Wow," said a third worker as he reached out to touch it. Suddenly, purple energy shot into his hand, throwing him to the ground. The other two workers ran to him to see if he was alright.
Sydney, Austrailia 7:43 P.M.
A security guard was sitting on a bench watching TV with his back to the Egg. Purple slime started running down from the egg. A low purple light shone through the cracks. Silently, the Egg opened and a dark figure rose out of the egg. He stretched his arms and yawned loudly. The guard turned around and jumped back and said fearfuly "W–W–Who are you?"
The purple figure laughed and said, "I wonder how many people are going to ask me that in the next few days?" Then he looked down at the guard and said, "I am the galactically feared, globally reviled, universally dispised…They call me Ivan Ooze. And I will call you asleep." Ooze pointed his finger at the guard and the gurad fell down, asleep.
Ooze walked over to the TV and watched it for a minute. Then Ooze laughed and said "Sailor Moon..I thought I fried that annoying little girlscout…." Ooze turned around and said, "Oh, well, no matter. Time to pay Ol' Zordon a visit." He threw his hands in the air and disappeared in a purple transport beam.
Astro Megaship 2:00 P.M.
T.J. walked onto the bridge of the Astro Megaship and over to Andros. "Was it such a good idea to bring them up here?" said Andros as he watched Bulk and Skull watch the flashing lights on the control panel.
"It's okay, Andros. They grabbed onto my legs and wouldn't let go 'til I said I would bring them up. They won't hurt anything," said T.J.
Just then, Alpha 6 yelled, "NO, NO! Don't touch that!" Bulk quickly pulled his hand away from a small red button and looked around like he wasn't doing anything.
"See," said Andros.
Then DECA said, "That is only the button for the lights."
"Quiet, DECA," grumbled Andros.
Suddenly, DECA said, "Unidentified high energy source detected in Sydney, Austrailia."
"What could that be?" said T.J. Before he could do anything, a red light came on.
"DECA, what's that?" asked Andros.
"Message detected………..source confirmed. The message is coming from the mountains outside Angel Grove," said DECA.
"The Power Chamber wreckage," said T.J. "Get the others." A few minutes later, all the Rangers were on the bridge.
"Whats going on, Andros?" asked Ashley
"Yeah," said Carlos. Before Andros could answer, the main screen came on.
"DECA, what's going on?" asked Andros.
"The message has overridden my control," said DECA.
Zordons face came on the screen. "RANGERS. IF YOU ARE RECIEVING THIS MESSAGE, IT MEANS I AM GONE. THIS MESSAGE WAS PREPARED JUST IN CASE I WAS NOT AROUND TO GIVE YOU THIS INFORMATION…6000 YEARS AGO, A MORPHOLOGICAL BEING KNOWN AS IVAN OOZE RULED THE WORLD WITH A REIGN OF UNPARALLELED TERROR..HE WAS ON THE VERGE OF COMPLETEING HIS ULTIMATE WEAPONS, THE ECTOMORPHICON TITANS, TWIN MACHINES CAPABLE OF ENSLAVING THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. A GROUP OF YOUNG WARRIORS LIKE YOURSELVES LURED HIM INTO A HYPERLOCK CHAMBER AND BURIED HIM DEEP UNDER GROUND. NOW THE CHAMBER HAS BEEN UNEARTHED AND IVAN HAS ESCAPED. THE ECTOMORPHICONS WERE BURIED NEAR THE CHAMBER. IVAN IS SURE TO FIND THEM. YOU MUST EITHER DESTROY HIM OR RECAPTURE HIM AND RETURN HIM TO THE DEPTHS OF THE EARTH."
Andros looked at Zhane. "We got a problem," said Andros.
Triforia Main Capital 13:47 P.M. Triforian time
"Lord Trey," said a female Triforian, "should I prepare Pyramidas?"
"Yes, immediately," said Trey.
Astro Megaship 2:17p.m.
"What should we do?" said Ashley.
"This guy must be dangerous if Zordon set this message to go off even if the Power Chamber was gone," said T.J.
Andros looked worried for a minute, then said, "DECA, where was that energy reading again?"
"Sydney, Australia," said DECA.
"Let's go," said Andros.
Zhane looked at Bulk and Skull. "You guys should leave," he said.
"You are going to win…right?" said Bulk, looking concerned.
"Yeah," said Cassie, then Alpha pushed some buttons on the control panel and Bulk and Skull disappeared in two beams of white light. "I hope."
"LET'S ROCKET!" yelled Andros. With 6 flashes of light they became the POWER RANGERS.
Sydney, Australia 2:19p.m.
They appeared next to the construction worker. "Is he okay?" asked Cassie.
"Yeah, he's just sleeping," said Zhane, who had leaned down to check him.
"OOOUGH!" groned the worker. Then he opened his eyes and looked very suprised. "The P….Power Rangers."
"What happened to you?" asked Andros.
"A weird guy calling him self Ivan something pointed his finger at me and I was hit by strange purple electricity and I felt really sleepy.
T.J. looked around nervously. "I wonder where he went?"
Mountains outside of Angel Grove 2:20 p.m.
Ivan Ooze looked around at the wreckage of the Power Chamber, laughing. "I can't believe someone beat me to ol' Z." Ooze made a fake frown and said, "I was so looking forward to discussing old times," he smiled evilly, "and blowing him into oblivian! Ha, ha, ha, ha! Well, one less thing to do." Ivan looked around and suddenly looked really angry. "I should be ruling the Universe, but nooooO! You locked me up in that stuffy little hyperlock chamber and tossed me away in the depths like yesterday's trash!" Ivan looked up in the sky. "Do you have any idea what it's like to be locked up in a rotton egg for six thousand years? It's boring!" Ooze stretched his back. "Not to mention I've had a charlie horse since the rennaisance. Oh, the things that I have missed! The black plague!" He blasted a large piece of wreckage to atoms. "The Spanish Inquisition!" He blasted another. "The Brady Bunch Reunion!" He blasted the rest of the wreckage into oblivion.
Astro Megaship 2:24 p.m.
"High energy disturbance detected in……" said DECA.
"Yes, yes, I know!" yelled Alpha, throwing his arms up in the air, a little upset at DECA (since this was her 8th time saying it). "Rangers," said Alpha into the communication equipment.
"Yeah? What is it, Alpha?" said Andros.
"We have just picked up Ooze at the wreckage of the Power Chamber," said Alpha.
"Right. We're on it," said Andros.
Mountains outside of Angel Grove, seconds later
"Time to get my Ectomorp…." Ivan looked around for a second. "What is that odious stench…smells like…teenagers,"said Ooze. Just then, six beams of light appeared over head. "Inconceivable,"gasped Ivan. "The Power Rangers…How? After so long?" Then the beams landed and materelized into the six Space Rangers.
Zhane looked up at Ivan, who was about ten feet away from them. "You must be Ivan Ooze," stated Zhane, boldly.
"You got that right,"chuckled Ooze. "Who might you be?" Ooze knew very well who they were, but wanted to here them say it.
"We're the Power Rangers,"stated Ashley.
"Oo! Wheres my autograph book?" mocked the Ooze man.
"Are you going to go quietly or do we have to make you?" said T.J. while crossing his arms.
"You better just surrender, Mr. Raisin-head," said Cassie.
Suddenly, Ivan looked enraged. "So, a bunch of kids think they can take me on?" growled Ivan. "Well..meet my kids!" Ivan threw his hands into the air and purple energy shot out from his fingers creating two dozen puddles of Ooze.Then, they started forming into humanoid shapes. Finally, they became fully solid.The army of Ooze-dripping minons swung their arms menacingly at the Rangers. "The world as you know it has ceased to exist. Welcome to my nightmare!" roared Ivan. The Oozelets charged the Rangers.
"Let's take these freaks!" ordered Andros.
"Right!" yelled all the other Rangers as they ran into battle.
Andros was the first to attack. "Spiral Saber!" yelled Andros.He slashed at the first Oozelet he came to, sending them to the ground. "Not too tough," stated Andros. Suddenly, the Oozelet jumped back to its feet, kicked Andros' Saber out of his hand, and almost kicked the red out of his uniform.
Meanwhile, Ashley was fighting three of them and not doing too well. She punched the first one in the face. But, then the second one kicked her in the stomach. Then the third one punched her in the neck, sending her to the ground, coughing. "AAAUUGH!! HELP!!" pleaded Ashley.
Cassie looked over in Ashley's direction and saw an Oozelet dragging Ashley to her feet and two more start slamming there fists into her, sending sparks flying off her suit. "I'm coming, Ashley!" Cassie looked at the four Oozelets who were attacking her while thinking she was glad they hadn't been working together like that. Then she kicked the closest one to her and said, "It's been fun!" She then took off running in Ashley's direction. "Sattelite Stunner!" yelled Cassie. She pointed it at one of the Oozelets attacking Ashley and fired it, sending circles of energy into the Oozelet, knocking it to the ground. The other one kicked Ashley hard in the stomach and started running at Cassie. Just before it hit her, Cassie jumped to the side and kicked it in the back, sending it ten feet over the cliff and splattering its Ooze all over the rock.
T.J. glanced over at Ashley and saw the Oozelet holding her and kneeing her in the back. "Oh no, I got to help her," thought T.J, ignoring the Oozelets he was fighting and ran towards Ashley, apparently not noticing Cassie was doing the same. They both kicked the Oozelet on opposite sides of its head making its eyes bug out. It released Ashley and she dropped to the ground clutching her stomach.Then T.J. looked at Cassie and they nodded at each other. They ran at the Oozelet and kicked it at exactly the same time. It flew threw the air, slamming into a large boulder, splattering and running down it.
Cassie got down on one knee and put her hand on Ashleys shoulder. "Are you okay?" asked Cassie.
"No," said Ashley. "I think a few of my ribs are broken."
"You'll live," said T.J. "We'll get Alpha to check you out later."
"Where's Andros?" asked Ashley.
Suddenly, an Oozelet splattered on the ground. Andros landed right in the puddle of Ooze guts. "Ew," said Andros as he kicked some of it off his boot. Then, Zhane and Carlos jumped off the same higher ledge that Andros did and landed to the right and left of him. They ran over to the others. Andros got down beside Ashley and asked, sounding almost scared, "Ar..are you alright?"
"Yeah . . . I'm fine," said Ashley. Then they got to their feet and looked around.
"We're surounded,"said Zhane. He kicked an Oozelet away from him.
"One chance," said Andros.
Carlos looked at Andros. "What?"
"Get ready," said Andros. "Alpha, lock the mega lasers on the ground around us."
"Are you sure about this?" said Alpha 6 over the communicators.
"It's our only chance," said Andros.
"He's right," said Ashley.
Alpha walks over to the control panel. "Here goes nothing," he thought. He pulled the fire controls.The Astro Megaship fired at the Earth.
"Here it comes!" yelled T.J. The explosions erupted all around the Rangers. All of the Oozelets splattered and ooze covered everything. Zhane looked around.
"Wow," he said. "What a mess."
"You little punks," yelled Ivan Ooze, enraged. Purple energy sparks and electricity flashed threw the air.
"Uh oh," said Ashley nervously.
"Ectomorphicons! It's time to test your power!" yelled Ivan, sending purple electricity into the air.
Sidney, Australia
At the construction site, the purple energy entered the ground. Suddenly, a large metal hand burst out of the ground. The first Ectomorphicon climbed up from the rock. It looked like a giant wasp. It had purple wings. The Ectomorphicon took off into the sky. Just as it did that, the second one burst out of the ground. It was a giant scorpion. The two then shot off into the sky in purple streaks of light.
